When you rename a data item or collection, you are asked,"Do you want to change the name in the referenced action?" I want a function that confirmation comes out. The existing design control covers quite a lot in terms of usable syntax and logic errors but it is limited with best practice checking. There should be a base set of configurable best practice controls set up based on peer review documents. Example controls: Overcomplicated pages - Check for X number of stages. Stages that could be sub-pages - Check for duplicate named sequences of stages. Possible infinite loops - Check to ensure a decision stage exists between a set of links that go backwards. Attach stages at the beginning of actions - Check for an attach after a Start stage These are just some possible controls. Rules should be developed based on the existing peer review checklists on the portal. When object name is changed then in all processes where this object was used it no longer exists in the actions and it should be again added for all the missing actions. It could be the same as for process - when the name is changed it still exists in other processes where it is used as it is referenced by ID I guess. ... View more

With Increase in the number of automated processes, it becomes very difficult to search for an object while working on a new process. If Blueprism can provide a search feature in Action stage where developer can search for a required object that will really help in searching for the required object,. also if we can show recently used objects in Action stage that will really help to speed up the development phase, since few action of an object needs to be utilized in a sequential manner to achieve target, like for Excel VBO we create instance, then create work book, then read/write from it. ​Hi Team, I would like to provide an idea on search feature for Process/Object in Studio.  When we work with larg amount of process and Objects, we need to scroll and search for particular Process or Objects in studio, which takes lot of time. If we have Search box in place for this in studio then we will achieve great User experience especially for customers with a large amount of Objects and Processes. Also it will have impact on development time. Also I would like to suggest Search feature for Action stage. When we work with action stage and if we are having large number of actions created in solution then we will have to scroll all actions in order to select one. If we have search functionality for the same then we will achieve great User experience especially for customers with a large amount of Objects and Processes. Hello, I requested this a year back as an enhancement but no action was taken. Basically, there are several Blue Prism customers that would like to see added support for using resource pools together with Login Agent. This would save a lot of time and trouble in scheduling of automations, including better utilization of licenses. Currently, it is only possible to use resource pools in a smart way by not using login agent, i.e. to allow the Windows Account to have access to all systems with Single Sign-On (SSO). The other option to get around this is to build custom scheduling which Blue Prism would not support as part of the license agreement.
