It would be great to have the ability to debug (i.e. stepping line by line, setting breakpoints etc.) inside a code stage. This would make it easier to identify where the errors occur and would save us a lot of time when developing objects with code stages. If we could see the variable values while debugging in a code stage (like in i.e Excel VBA) that would also be very useful.

Consider following improvements to the Chrome Extension: 1. Detect frameworks used by the page being spied. Adjust spying in accordance with the Framework 2. pull images from CSS and add them as a spying attributes. Other browsers will benefit from above as well.

Can we extend our Excel VBO to have CSV to Excel conversion action . Its a common action and have seen widely getting used for many business processses and companies. I do know the indirect way of converting it in Blue prism by importing and using save as or changing code stage . Though i feel having a direct action in VBo itself can be a cheery for everyone ,

Currently AutomateC.exe has the function: /startschedule [/ schedule] We need to add function: /retireschedule. Adding this function will allow users, including business users, to control schedules. Up to current version of Blue Prism (v6.10.1 as of writing), unlike the granularity set forth in the Process Studio & Object Studio, many role-based permission settings are too coarse to align with our live role & responsibilities according to our enterprise IT governance policy. For instance, there’s only an overall setting for ‘System - Calendars’, where view/edit permissions are not further segregated. It renders difficulty to our production support team during troubleshooting. Many other coarse-permission settings under the ‘System Manager’ group can pose tricky situations alike.
Rationale behind our case: For our RPA production support team and Control Manager, we need to enquire the calendar setting to ensure the calendar are defined correctly. However, at the same time, our IT Compliance has a tight guideline that all system script deployment and configuration change can only be done at particular time windows and by designated group of staff.
We believe this situation is common in industry.

I would suggest Blue prism to have one common Spy mode or default Spy mode for all the browser with all enhanced feature. So that it is easy to switch between browser. As of now HTML mode has more feature as compare to Browser mode. But we are mostly using Browser mode. I have written it multiple time.

Would be great to have access to create code blocks in process level, this to skip all the hassle of creating a new object find all the dlls etc just to build some logic and then call the object from a process. if the code block was reachable from both levels you could easily build small unique blocks for a single process/purpose, and not litter the object level with several custom code blocks.

When saving an object or process in Studio have BP automatically update the Edit Summary text with the last changes made to the process or object since the last save. This will save on development time and improve accuracy in the save summary.

VBO help (i mark) There is a VBO for which there is no description. I'd like all VBOs to include an overview and a description of their inputs and outputs.

We now have 150+ virtual machines in our resource pool. Occasionally I need to run the same process on a group of resources. At the moment I have to drag and drop each process individually to each machine. I already have my control room grouped into folders by work type. I would like to be able to drop a process on that folder, and for BP to issue that process to all resources inside that folder.

We should have an option to adjust logging for the process in the import window itself. So when the user imports the process it asks to keep the logging same or change it to Disable/Errors only etc. before finishing the Import. So let's say a user gave me a process with 100% logging and I can change logging for my machine to 0% logging by selecting the option during the import window itself and as result, I'll import the process into my machine with this new log setting.

It would be really user friendly if, when you'd updated an environment variable and clicked 'Apply'. that a pop-up window showed what variables were being updated and giving you the option to not change them (in case of something changed in error). Or, could it highlight which environment variables have changed, like it does when you change a scheduled, by putting a '*' next to it ?

Blue Prism does not specify a port on the request to the Active Directory server, so it utilizes the default port for the LDAP protocol (389). A recent security finding has identified that applications connecting to Windows Active Directory LDAP over a non-secure port 389 are vulnerable to attacks. To mitigate and completely resolve the security finding prior to the mandatory Microsoft Security Patch due in March 2020. In E1/E2/E3 the requests to lDAP on port 389 will be nullified after Patch in March. Application teams will need to modify their connections to a secure LDAP using port 636 This is time-sensitive matter and would like to expedite a resolution, Please support this idea. Thanks, Nagarjuna Atukuri

I really wish i was able to import a .ics file into the calendar function so i could better control the holidays that is not built in. I would even be satisfied with the possibility to create a custom calendar and only mark the days a process should run, instead of now marking everyday it should not run. For the particular process in mind, i would have to mark 353 days as holidays, to get the desired option.

Currently the Decipher.DLL need to be copied manually to the Blue Prism Automate base directory. It would be great if the Decipher.DLL would be already there by default.

Request to have CSS and XPath support added to all browser spying mode, so that element identification (or highlighting) can be achieved using any complex CSS or XPath selector. CSS is widely used in web development and is often the way how modern websites use to implement many UI features via JavaScript. Often a web element can be identified uniquely by the use of a single expression without the use of any other attributes. It can be a much faster way in narrowing down to an element on a very large web page with thousands of elements. It may also bring benefits to pages that are dynamic in nature, e.g. an element may not always appear in the same PATH hierarchy. I am aware that a user may specify XPath expressions against "Web Path" attribute when using Google Chrome and Firefox plugins. XPath however is not being supported by the IE mode.

It might be useful to have code snippet options available within code stages to allow for fast development of custom code stages. This would also benefit those will limited knowledge on coding and help them understand code stages where they might need to investigate, troubleshoot and fix code. This could be limited to areas within vb such as ms office applications, outlook, excel etc.
