Currently when configuring Parent/Child relationships in Communications, there can only be one parent client associated with multiple child clients.
Clients would like the ability to have multiple Parent/Child relationships in Communications so they can have more flexibility to support global settings for a subset of children. Some clients have different divisions within their organization like a French, English or German division. By having the flexibility of having multiple parent/ child relationships they can better manage the content, date sources and delivery set-ups for these scenarios.

As we transition to Processor Workspace we noticed there isn't an option to Clear AWD Web Cache (as there was in Classic Workspace). Once we start using Processor this option is no longer available to Users. Could we have this option added to Processor Workspace to match what was available in Classic Workspace?

Need the ability to automatically split documents in addition to the current manual feature. With Documentation Automation integration, it seems like this should be possible. Right now, DA charges for every page submitted. sometimes a document will always have pages that are not templated, so they reject consistently, even when they always accompany other pages that are templated. See attached - this shows a current solution that uses Abbyy

Idea: Introducing the Use of EMPTY or NULL STRING in Functions for Handling Empty Parameters, Similar to TRUE or FALSE in Decision Functions. Description: Context: Many functions encounter limitations when dealing with empty parameters. In such scenarios, it becomes imperative to incorporate the concept of EMPTY or NULL STRING, akin to the presence of TRUE or FALSE in decision functions. Example: Let's take the case of the "Replace String" function. Often, there's a requirement to substitute a string with nothing or an empty string, but the function doesn't permit this action. Illustration: Consider the string "ABC-4444333123356" and the desired outcome is "ABC-4444123356". In the above instance, if the string "ABC-4444333123356" is dynamic, the aforementioned feature would prove exceptionally valuable. When the option of leaving a field blank is disallowed, the availability of EMPTY or NULL becomes essential to generate the intended output. In scenarios like the aforementioned example involving the dynamic string "ABC-4444333123356", the functionality described above holds significant utility.

Currently in Decipher, there is no way to adjust the column width of a table. This becomes extremely problematic when there are more than 4 or 5 columns in a table. Because you are unable to adjust the column widths, it makes it virtually impossible for a user to validate that the information has been extracted correctly. The user can't see what information is in the box because the column width is about 1 character wide. Decipher has the ability to split out the image/document into another screen and make the DFD appear on one screen but even then, the table remains small (doesn't display the length of the screen like all the fields) and also doesn't allow you to adjust the column widths.
Update: In version 2.2 you can now adjust the column widths of a table but you are unable to save the widths. You should be able to adjust to a certain width so that every time you go into a document, the width of each column remains. Asking a user to do this on each document is cumbersome and tedious.

Work items which are stuck in infinite loops impact Chorus BPM system performance, and in some cases system stability. This issue impacts both hosted and self-hosted clients. When we see high CPU utilisation on the application and database servers, we query the WA2 BI event table to find work items which are stuck in a loop. This reactive step allows us to identify the work items which are impacting performance but doesn't address the root cause. We could like Chorus BPM design studio to identify potential infinite loops as part of process validation. The beta process test automation framework was able to identify loops. Maybe this code could be used as the basis of a solution?

It would be beneficial if we had the ability of exporting credentials from one version of BP such that they can be imported into a newer version of BP. Issues were experienced during our migration from V6.8 to V7.1 such that it was strongly advised for us to do a migration of automations over a few weeks, instead of over a weekend. Our migration required about 190 bots to be migrated. Future migrations could be double or more. Having to extract the password from BP by running get credentials once per user and then manually keying those across to 7.1.2 was very time consuming and annoying.

Expressions are currently written in some kind of Visual Basic dialect, which is great for non-technical users or beginners from the 90s. It should be possible to write Expressions e.g. in C# becaue this would allow the creation of more advanced expression. Of course at some point a Code Stage producing a Boolean ("Flag") value could be used, but it has no access to an API or other interal functions so e.g. Exception details cannot be evaluated.

I Would love BP to provide an additional tool to manage the CICD. I tried/propose to build a web/windows app based solution for it which has/should have the below features: 1- One time configuration for all environments (Dev,SIT,UAT,Prod). 2- A login option in line with the user's access to BP (planned) 3- As soon as you login, it shows you dropdown /list view of all the processes present in different environments. 4- Once you select any process in any environment: it gives you 2 options : a) Elevate to next Environment (Dev-->SIT, SIT-->UAT, UAT-->PROD). Once you click, all the dependencies are automatically moved/created in the next environment. b) Demote/Degrade to previous Environment/Disable Process 5- It also should provide an option to create/manage the credentials from this app There can be endless possibilities around this one stop CICD model as the admin team doesn't have to login to BP to move the processes and dependencies across environments Thoughts for discussion open.

Up to current version of Blue Prism (v6.10.1 as of writing), unlike the granularity set forth in the Process Studio & Object Studio, many role-based permission settings are too coarse to align with our live role & responsibilities according to our enterprise IT governance policy. For instance, there’s only an overall setting for ‘System - Calendars’, where view/edit permissions are not further segregated. It renders difficulty to our production support team during troubleshooting. Many other coarse-permission settings under the ‘System Manager’ group can pose tricky situations alike.
Rationale behind our case: For our RPA production support team and Control Manager, we need to enquire the calendar setting to ensure the calendar are defined correctly. However, at the same time, our IT Compliance has a tight guideline that all system script deployment and configuration change can only be done at particular time windows and by designated group of staff.
We believe this situation is common in industry.

Control Room / Application Server should be able to send E-Mails if a Process Terminates.
In my eyes a must have feature for unattended Bots. When I leave work and the Robot terminates after some minutes there are so many hours of runtime lost.
If I would get an E-Mail I could simply start the bot again or fix the issues remotely.

Beyond comparing versions a process or objects in one environment, it would be great to do comparisons between different environments. Not only just to see what may need to be migrated, but also to see what changed (in the app modeler as well). Appian announced this functionality this year in their platform.

We need the ability to log user unsuccessful login attempts into the Blue Prism platform audit logs.
Presently, while we can see all successful login / logoff attempts, unsuccessful login attempts are not logged.
As confirmed by the BP support team such a capability does not exist today. Since this shortcoming is raised as a non-compliance from a security audit pov, appreciate that the unsuccessful login attempt audit functionality is included in the next BP release.

Often when I troubleshoot presentation flows and automation services the I built in Chorus Design Workspace, I find the lack of a testing environment is a challenge. I do not have the option to trace variable values, and place breakpoints in the code. The best thing I can do at this point is print out variable values to the history Comments, but this is a challenge with complex data structures like tables and arrays. It would be great to be able to simply place a breakpoint on a specific step in a presentation flow and flag which variables or other session state data that I would like to trace. When the presentation flow hits that breakpoint, the user is presented with a special breakpoint screen with all the session state data that is being traced. Perhaps there is a specific flag the user sets when they deploy the process to indicate whether or not to ignore the breakpoints. Automation services being run outside of a presentation flow wouldn't be able to present a screen, but they could print out session state data to comments using the same configuration. I'd be happy to work on some mockups to elaborate on this idea if it is something we want to pursue.

When handling DLL's for a codestage, you have to unpackage nugets and add them to the BluePrism root folder for each VDI. It would be great to either have a Nuget manager like in Visual Studio (and UiPath as well) or be able to reference DLL's from a Network drive. With this functionality it will be a lot easier to handle versions.
