During initial demos to users, several of them have asked for a dark mode option to offset the glare you get from lots of white space. Our users will have the Chorus Processing screens open all the time during their workdays.

Add option where you can configure the order of items under the Case item in Chorus Processor Workspace. With Classic Workspace items would show in the following order:
1) Case
2) Transactions attached to Case in Order
3) Sources attached to Case in Order
However Processor Workspace will show as follows:
1) Case
2) Transactions and Sources in order (Mixed)
We would like to have option where you can select order if we wanted to match with Classic (Case, Transactions attached and then Sources Attached order)

Some user pefer to not have the thumbnail pop-up everytime a new images comes up. It would be great to add an option under the User Preference to turn the Thumbnail off at the user level and keep the setting until it's change meaning not have it turn on the next time CV is open either on the next transaction or next day. Using the shortcut of ALT + U is great but we also need to option to turn the option off by default and use the short cut when we need to see it.

Since the core utilities and objects no longer included when you install Blue Prism (BP), I think it would be very helpful if the DX tab in BP could display the core utilities for download and provide an option to import them directly, rather than redirecting you to the Dx platform. I'm aware that the Blue Prism team is constantly adding features and fixing bugs in the core objects. Therefore, showing the last update of the core object that the client has and providing the option to update to the latest version would be a significant improvement. I work in different environments using BP 7.1, but some core objects are from previous versions (e.g., 6.2) and have not been updated. When I requested the installation of a new Core object (such as the MS Word VBO), they complied. However, I then noticed there were approximately five different core objects with the same name. Which one was the latest? It's unclear until you examine each object individually, searching for the required action.

When developing a Decipher automation, business users may be created, and groups configured specifically for that project. Recreating them in the production environment can be time consuming. I suggest adding a method to migrate specified users, except for the password, and user groups to cut down on the time needed to recreate them in Production.

The last screen for confirming DB upgrade during BP upgrade should show the DB name that will be affected.
Currently it warns in red: those changes cannot be undone! and I have to enter the password again ... but I cannot verify if my previous specifications of the DB was correct anymore at this stage.
There could be another line close to the lines with the DB versions saying: Affected database: <db name>.
Or it could be added to the password prompt like: Please retype the password for database <db name>.

Vulnerability: CONCURRENT USER SESSIONS
Issue observed in: HUB and Decipher
Business Impact: An attacker can connect concurrently with a user without indication that their account has been compromised.
Description
The application allows multiple connections simultaneously with the same authenticated user account. This is demonstrated by logging in with two separate browsers without restriction.
In this case, the application allowed the admin user to sign into the application using two different browsers at the same time.
Supporting Evidence: A high privileged user logged into the application from two different browsers at the same time.
Reproduction Steps
1. In Chrome, log into the application with a high privileged user
2. Perform the same action as step one, but this time using the Edge browser
3. Attempt to navigate to any other page within the application using both browsers.
4. The application does not log the user out of either session
Recommendation
• The application should restrict connections so that a user account can only create one session at a time to the application. This will create a condition that alerts the user that their account has been compromised.
• If there is a business case for concurrent user sessions, then some form of indication should be given to the user that their account may be compromised. This can be done with a message that occurs alerting that there is another login from another location.
• It can also be strengthened by displaying a message indicating the last time a login occurred.

Currently, the Exception Types are created by users manually typing into the combo box within the Exception Stage's properties.
This often leads to multiplication of the same exception type due to typos, misunderstandings, etc.
Example below:
This in turn becomes a nightmare when it comes to reporting, as often a hard set rule cannot be followed for extrapolating these from the overall pot.
I suggest removing the ability to add new exception types by typing into the combo box, and instead make it a privileged action within the System settings.
For example within the already existing Exception Type screen:
This could be done by implementing an "Add new exception type" action on the side panel, below the already existing "Scan processes"

I am not sure if such feature is available in BP v7 at least I am not aware of it.
The idea is to have a tool that supports the replacement of VBO and sub-process in depending objects. Since the underlying XML is well defined and known it should be possible to create a program, script, VBO that list all objects used by a specific VBO/process and then allows to specify with what this should be replaced.
In theory this replacement could be done directly in DB but might be safer to extract the XML and do the replacement on the file and import it again. (export/import could be done manually). This exp-/import the replacement would be visible in the change history too.
Alternatively it would be helpful to publish the XML definitions so customers could do such a tool themselves.

It would be nice to have a small table of historic releases in DX for VBO. This may show the date of release, version number, release notes / summary edit: Link to current discussion on this topic: Digital Exchange Updates (general) | Digital Exchange (blueprism.com) Also as mentioned by Wagner Vasconcelos, it would be a great addition to the search function to have the 'change date' as field to search and filter in DX

The purpose for this idea is to explore options to allow a company and their respective delegates (i.e. clients) to Email out from Chorus using multiple email domains such as @companydomain.com and clientdomain.com, etc. This would allow the company the ability to send out emails on a client behalf within the Chorus application.

We have dedicated queues on our Chorus databases for robotic processes. We sometimes see associates will leave an item they worked as locked or assigned to themselves, but in a queue waiting for a robot to process. We need an easy way to alert users to release items for robotic processing
Immediately present a window to the user letting them know they are locked or assigned to an item in a robotic queue. The message "You are now locked to an item in a robotic queue. This prevents further action on the item. Please release from this item, or move out of the robotic queue."

I believe it is advantageous to include the list of default objects within the learning edition of Blue Prism (which was the case prior to 7.3). I can't speak on behalf of everyone but we currently don't have a training environment within our Enterprise install of Blue Prism and utilise the learning edition to run training of the Blue Prism product.
Not having these included with the learning edition requires us to provide a release file to each trainee, or have them download what they need from DX directly.
Also, I note that the documentation is not correct for verifying an installation as it still points to the VBO folder, which is now empty as of 7.3.

Sometimes we need to manually run a process in control room and usually more than once (most of the times because of forgot something). Please create an option, when we right click on a previous run to "rerun" it again. By rerun I mean to start a new instance of the same process on the same resource.
This would make this process much simpler, mostly during the Testing phase where we might need to run the same process many times.

Allow the insertion of images in studio as a note stages. For example, while developing an application object, we could place a screenshot of the screen we're interacting with next to the navigate stage. This would facilitate debugging, many times we need to fix an object that was not developed by us and we might not be sure which element we should be interacting with.
We could also place an image next to a complex business rule to make it easier to understand.

I think it would be a great idea to have an auto complete feature in the expressions editor so if you start typing a data item or collection name it will suggest options based on the already created data items or collections within your process or object. and then if you press the tab key it will auto complete the name in the editor for you. I've attached a mock up to visualise how this could look. I feel this would save a little time but also it would make it simpler with less clicking involved.
