A number of our automations are API only, therefore monitoring progress and activity by watching a digital worker becomes ineffective because nothing happens on screen for one to see.
Would really like the ability to have a live session log, at the moment (at least in 6.10.1) the session logs load in up to the time you open the session log window.
Ideally a seperate async thread would be created to allow a background task to constantly update the data inside of the main Blue Prism process, and keep the session logs up to date.

Search functionalities for Environment Variables under System > Processes and System > Objects, for Work Queues under Control > Queue Management and for Schedules under Control > Scheduler will make developer and admin life easier. I saw a few search functionalities have been added on version 6.8. Please consider these areas as well.

Hi All, As we all know, most of the question or discussions raised by fellow community members are already present in the pool of answers. It would be great of we can have a dedicated section in community portal for frequently asked questions (ordering learning edition, resetting login password etc..)so that any one can look for their answers here as a first preference instead of posting a fresh thread. They can post a new thread if dont find their required inputs/resolution.

Hi Team, I would suggest, Blue Prism should work on scheduler part. Suppose - if we have around 15 to 16 processes in scheduler - User need to check one by one which process will process next on completion of current process and it is taking time and confusion as well. Blue Prism should work on task for Auto Arranging the processes - sequence wise It can provide more efficiency for controllers and support engineers who are handling the control room. Suppose Right now, I have scheduler and it looks like below. 1)Login - Starting with this process. 2)P0 - Process on completion of Login 3)P2 - Process on completion of P1 4)P1 - Process on completion of P0 5)Logout - On completion of P2 Blue Prism should Auto Arrange the processes as per completion sequence and It should be like below. 1)Login 2)P0 3)P1 4)P2 5)Logout - I hope this idea can helps. -With Best Regards, Malak Dudhia

Currently when installing Decipher Licensing service for v2.1 there are two parts to improve: 1) Hide the password value (or make it visible on demand) when entering RabbitMQ user's password during installation. 2) Extend the characters limitations for the RabbitMQ password and RabbitMQ user values. Currently RabbitMQ and Decipher Licensing do not let though user name with other characters than alphas (issues as in automation most of user names contains alphanumeric values and some special chars as "_", "-", etc.), and the password field can not access special characters at all (only alphanumeric) which is reducing the security layer of whole solution. NOTE: It may be a limitation on RabbitMQ side but as a business partner, you should be interested in getting this fixed if so.

When working with color documents, Decipher detects the background of the document as text and adds regions to it. If the document is manually converted to black and white, then the problem is solved. It would be great to add this functionality to Decipher.

Currently if the license is unavailable , Bot will throw errors in Run time Resource. What if Blue prism add a feature to select the user based on Run time resource. if the license are not available the scheduled Process will be added in to Queue for the next license availability. 1.)For Unattended Automation or atleast triggering the digital worker using WEB API 2. ) Unattended Automation it is optional

Currently Blue prism has retry logic for schedules that were missed due to unavailability of resources. However with version 6.0+ the way scheduler operates has not changed from version 5. there are numerous reasons for scheduler create the session and leave them pending without triggering them (database size, fragmentation of index in session table, network connectivity, resources wrongly reporting offline to app server etc). This situation can be avoided by implementing retry for sessions that are created by scheduler. it should be configurable as a system wide setting similar to the scheduler retry mechanism for session creation.

Each day I find there are certain process that have Terminated in the control room after they are run through Scheduler but there is no notification triggered for the termination, Is there a way to send out notifications to developers for their process terminations. Some how I seem to have not found a simple way to automatically notify them of their process notifications.

Currently Blue Prism doesn't seem too sleek when it comes to navigating the application. It feels "stuttery", and I suspect that this is due to how the graphics of the application is handled behind the scenes. Whether it is being caused by having to talk to BP-server constantly, or running single-threaded I don't know. My suggestion is simple - Take a page out of the game developers book, and implement a separate GUI that runs on its own thread regardless of what is running in the core of Blue Prism, such that our GUI is responsive at all times. This is probably not a small task, as it would alter the way the application is built from the core and up. But it would help increase the quality of the product I think vs. your competitors.

The fact that only the latest screenshot is shared per VM, not linked to which process / queue item that was processing, is not very convenient. The following features would make this functionality more powerful in terms of debugging & troubleshooting;
store a (browsable) history of screenshots, not just the latest
create a link between screenshots and their triggering exceptions example usage: open screenshot, click 'go to exception' and immediately have the process/VBO open with the screenshot next to it, ready to debug.
link queue exceptions to their respective screenshots example usage: when looking at a certain failed queue item, click 'view screenshot' (if available) and see what went wrong for this specific queue item.

Hi to everyone ! I have the following idea. When you are developing a process and you do a test, if an object was a wait to big, for any reason, it would be nice if Blue Prism let you to break the WAITING state from the object and try it again without any kind of refresh buttton (to avoid lossing your current data in variables).

Hello,
In Blue Prism Studio we can group Processes & Business Objects within separate folders. Why not do the same in Control Room, for Schedules/ Retired Schedules? It would improve readability significantly, especially, when there are lots of schedules and we can group them by something they have in common, e.g. by process.
Thanks for reading the proposal, Paweł
