With the last order of new licenses, we had the problem to assign the delivered license key to the right one of our multiple customers. Maybe it would be feasible to organize the license management in the Blue Prism Portal or a dedicated central license server. Following information would be needed for each license file: - The filename of the license key should contain the order and ticket number, so that by just having the filename, the license can be assigned to the order - When ordering multiple licenses, these should have the same start and end date - An overview over all ordered licenses, active as well as expired ones As you already have a tool to check and view the content of a license file, it would be nice to be able to download that tool from the same site, where we as customers access the licenses as well. Kind regards Matthias

When we upgrade from one version to another can we also update the internal/standard object as a part of update process ? objects which come bundled with BluePrism like Utility - HTTP, Collection manipulation etc. does not upgrade to next level with BluePrism uppgrade. Some one has to manually go and import it again in order to utilize new functionality, it would be great if this can be upgraded as well as part or BluePrism update.

Blue Prism does not specify a port on the request to the Active Directory server, so it utilizes the default port for the LDAP protocol (389). A recent security finding has identified that applications connecting to Windows Active Directory LDAP over a non-secure port 389 are vulnerable to attacks. To mitigate and completely resolve the security finding prior to the mandatory Microsoft Security Patch due in March 2020. In E1/E2/E3 the requests to lDAP on port 389 will be nullified after Patch in March. Application teams will need to modify their connections to a secure LDAP using port 636 This is time-sensitive matter and would like to expedite a resolution, Please support this idea. Thanks, Nagarjuna Atukuri

HI Team, I want to export work queue data for a particular work queue using BP work flow not by exporting it manually. I have tried the internal VBO work queue object --> get report data option in it .It is only giving the item id not the entire queue export for the given work queue to the collection. Kindly guide me in this and if any pdf is there then please provide me. Thanks

It would be really user friendly if, when you'd updated an environment variable and clicked 'Apply'. that a pop-up window showed what variables were being updated and giving you the option to not change them (in case of something changed in error). Or, could it highlight which environment variables have changed, like it does when you change a scheduled, by putting a '*' next to it ?

It would be great when testing a process/object in debug mode, if it showed you, maybe by colour coding, which path has been taken through the code. You could then easily see what parts of the code hasn't been tested.

Moving processes/objects from one group to another (given that we have hundreds of processes/objects), is the most painful process ! he original method, way back in v4?, where you moved them under Process/Object Management option on the System Menu, although not perfect, was much easier. It could really do with a bulk option too.

When in a process/object and use the 'Find References' to see where the item is used, the results show processes/objects that have been retired, BUT, it doesn't highlight them as being retired. It would be really useful if it did this.

Session log viewer to have filter option to filter specific columns filters, so that's easy debug through log identify. I know search option is available but it's good to have in-built filter to show only filtered data.

The release manager is good, but not very practical. I my workflow I would find it much easier to be able to right click a process, and the choose "export with release manager". I would then like to be able to include all objects, credentials and all other items to which to process depends. If I don't want to include some part, I'll just deselect that box. As of now, I find it hard to get an overview of which objects (etc.) that I need to export with the process.

The situations we confront on a daily basis needs more indeep material to be provided by BP. This material is not for advanced users. Only for kids who want to play. How you can run a class that has to write in console a string, while you can't bend the console with BP from the code stage like you say in the doc. You can run the cmd and inside cmd you can type arguments etc. The doc from your site is SF.

When using an action stage currently all individual objects and processes are in an unfolded treeview. I'd like to request 2 new features / changes; - Collapsed items in the treeview in stead of expanded. - Search function which will only show objects that match the search term.

I know that we've changed export format from BP 6.6 to optimize export file. As a IT product vendor, I don't think it's good to delete old export format functions and replace them with new format... Could you please add old export format mode?

Consider introducing Inheritance concepts for Objects and Processes. Imagine developing Processes for delivering products or services to Amazon, Target, Walmart and more. The process is the same, but implementation and details vary. Today, we have to create "Main Process" and add switches to go to a particular Customer Sub Process or Page. What would be nice is to ensure that Customer Sub Processes follow Main Process Interface and are called dynamically. This way we don't have to change and retest Main Process, just the new Sub Process.
Another example: Blue Prism is used for Employee offboarding. Traditional way would be to call a process for each system to perform offboarding from the main process. Now imagine that the Company added a new system to it's portfolio and we need to update offboarding process. Not only we need to design a new BP offboarding Process, but we also need to update Main process to include new system in Offboarding process.
I'm proposing to allow main process to call other processes dynamically based on configuration or other conditions, so when changes come Main process does not need testing.
Main process call to supporting processes would look something like:
For Each p in processList
Call p

Need to add the feature to allow people to add special weekend days as working days in the calendar. Currently, you can only set the recurring working days and holidays in the calendar. Every year the Chinese government will issue the special arrangements for weekends adjacent to some public holidays like the National Day and Labour Day. For those holidays, the adjacent weekends will become working days in exchange for a longer continuous holiday afterwards. It is called 调休 in China. For instance, in 2019, the National Holiday is Oct 1-7, while Sept 29 (Sunday) and Oct 12 (Saturday) are working days. Missing this feature makes it difficult to manage working days for companies in China. As a workaround, they may need to manage two calendars to calculate the correct working days.
