It would be really useful for the BP application server to refresh the active directory links within an organisation on a regular basis. Currently, in order to 'flush' through changes to AD e.g. addition or removal of people from groups, you need to click on the 'Apply' button within User Roles. This can cause confusion and delay and is another unnecessary manual step with on boarding / maintain security groups. Thanks

Today, we can see the log of changes made to a process or object, but we can not go back to an older version if there were bad changes. A simple way to fix this would be to be able to export from the process/object version history, so it can be reimported.

Hello Folks, I have a hard time determining which Page is currently being shown when inside a Process or Object in Studio. I recommend that we set the BG Color for the current Page (TAB) in stark contrast to the other Tabs so that it is easily obvious which Page is currently being displayed. Thanks

Currently we have evaluated Browser and extension versions for Chrome, Firefox and Edge Browsers with compatible Blue Prism version. The reason for submitting this idea is to achieve a flexible Browser version and Browser extension which can be compatible for all Blue Prism versions. Because whenever we upgrade to higher versions we have to upgrade or adjust the chrome, firefox or edge versions too in order to achieve the compability else Browser mode doesn't work.

Currently, Known issue list across BP version do not include date when the issue is added to list. Issues are keep on adding as they are coming late as well and users do not come to know which issue was added at what point of time.

Alomost everywhere Blue Prism is using Microsoft Rich Text Boxes for writing text. Especially when editing Expressions, this makes no sense. Rich Text Boxes should be used when targeting non-technical users who want to write a novel because they do two things: 1. They don't use monospace fonts like Consolas or Courrier New 2. They use Microsoft Office style for selecting word/characters Both points are just annoying when writing source code like Expressions. Monospace fonts are a must-have for writing structured expressions like source code and definitely apply as well to BP's Visual Basic dialect that is used in Expressions. The same applies to the selection mode: it has some kind of auto-completion built into it which makes selecting very hard (and annoying). Both points could easily be fixed in minutes by changing the text boxes' style.

If there is no name written in the Name field of a parameter, and you drag in a data item, it would be good to have the data item name be set as default name of the parameter as well. It is not seldom that that name will be the same, and if not, it's very easy to change it instead of have to write it or copy/paste it every time.

It will be great if we can download\copy any of our objects Application Modeller attributes to another object or environment . Say i did some changes in my DEV for a object (just a attribute property change) it will be great instead of importing the complete object to UAT\PROD i just import my attribute file of that object . Thus if someone wants to just only have attributes file due to some automaton of Peer review\documentation one can directly check the file instead of complete .bprelease. Moreover attributes can be then be moved across objects or environments.

A timeout, configurable or globally set for the highlight function in Application Modeller would be highly useful, as sometimes it seems to be for some reason it "hangs", simply trying to find the element and basically not happening for several minutes, even the element was just spied a moment ago. This applies to all versions of BP as I have seen this on many. It applies to all spy modes too, it mostly is happening on HTML but I have seen it on AA as well. Basically, we could say, that if it is not possible to highlight within 2 minutes, it should abort and report a failure. As when this happens, the only way is to force kill the application, which is not desired.

Currently Blue prism has retry logic for schedules that were missed due to unavailability of resources.However with version 6.0+ the way scheduler operates has not changed from version 5. there are numerous reasons for scheduler create the session and leave them pending without triggering them (database size, fragmentation of index in session table, network connectivity, resources wrongly reporting offline to app server etc). This situation can be avoided by implementing retry for sessions that are created by scheduler. it should be configurable as a system wide setting similar to the scheduler retry mechanism for session creation.

I would like to be able to change the background color of actions. We can do this with blocks and I often place blocks around data items to label and associate them with a specific action for it's inputs/outputs. Changing the font color is somewhat helpful, but some of the colors are difficult to read. For readability, it would be nice to have the action color match the block color I use to associate all of it's data items.

When I add a new action, for example DB ORINOCO - Start > Launch, I would to have the option to automatically name the stage with the Action name actually used: 'Launch' or even 'DB ORINOCO - Start - Launch'. It might be renamed automatically or have like a checkbox: "Rename stage by object used"

Currently, the only options to read PDF based documents in Blueprism is to either use keystrokes to copy the entire content, use Region mode or go for a solution like iTextSharp DLL's or OCR based cloud services or vedors which adds upto extra licensing cost. It would be great if there is a VBO like Excel or Word to read digital PDF documents which is currently an in built feature in most of the other competitor RPA tools. Such a solution would obviously make Blueprism a great RPA vendor choice in domains like Insurance and Audits where reading digital invoices, receipts, bills, supply order is of extensive use.

We are not able to split Credentials into small groups. Grouping function for Credentials as with grouping functions of Processes/Objects, Queues, and Resources would be useful so much if there are lots of Credentials.

We want to search an specific text inside data item and stages, but it seems blue prism is not searching the items content, only items name.
First I have a data item called File Path.
The Data Item properties looks like the next screen. (Focus on the Initial Value)
Then, in process studio, I want to make a text search, by using the input text to Find Text.
Yes, I want to search to text “file.txt” inside the whole process to see which data item has this value, but there are not results for this search.
This is my concern.

We can see succesful login in audit logs but there is no records for failed login.
For example, when i entered my password incorrectly i cannot login BP but after this failed login there is no record added to audit logs modüle.
We would like to see this kind of login attempt. Is there any possible way to check these? Aprreciate your support on this issue.

A collection field is used on a page while the collection data item is kept on the Main Page.
When you go to the Main Page and right-click -> Find References, what would you expect to be informed? That the data item is referred to in the Main Page AND in that page in which you are using its field right? Wrong... the only reference it has is on the Main Page. Check screenshots for a better idea. I know that just below the data item, in the "Find References" window, you can find its fields references on those said pages, but, in my opinion, if there are 3 references to one field in one page, and another 3 references to another field in a different page, for the whole collection there should be at least 6 references, 3 in each page, being the sum of all the fields references across the code. The idea here then would be to have references tell you where a collection is used, disregard if it is the whole collection or a field from it.
