I think the control room should be re-designed completely so that it loads only a specific process or specific session that the user wants to run. At my organization, it takes a lot of time to load the control room. All I need is to run a single process and it takes at least 2-3 mins to load everything. These filters are great and every developer knows how to filter them.

When in a process/object and use the 'Find References' to see where the item is used, the results show processes/objects that have been retired, BUT, it doesn't highlight them as being retired. It would be really useful if it did this.

With more and more web apps going on single page applications, more and more elements are rendered but not visible in the same page, by scrolling or by hiding/showing elements. IE browser spying have a Screen visible attribute on it's elements. This would be great to have access to this kind of attribute even in Chrome, and of course also in Firefox.

Currently using BP v6.9 in a multi-language environment in which Windows display language is either English or German. Blue Prism client is always in English (to achieve this we had to delete the localization folder). Our session logs are always in English (except for OS messages those are of course passed through by BP). Our audit logs have mixed languages. eg login/logout are always in English. Changes to schedules are based on Windows language settings, so either in English or German. Date and number formats in logs differ depending on local regional settings in Windows and BP client / resource. This affects all types of analysis, querying of log data. Language in logs should be consistent in all types of logs and for all types of events. This could be achieved by either always be in English (except OS messages) or according to server language setting. Even better would be a own BP system language & region settings that are applied to all logs. This way the text and formats may differ to local BP client settings but at least they would be consistent. (And our colleagues don't need Google translate for messages generated by BP client running on German Windows 😉 )

When looking at the contents of aWork queue in Control room, you can do quite ok filtering on most columns. But not on the first column showing the item state, i.e. Pending/Locked/Completed/Exception. Here, I am at most time wanting to show all non finished, the union of Locked and Pending at the same time. At other times, I want to investigate on all finished items, the union of Completed and Exception. Could you please add the possibility to filter on Finished and Non-Finished as well as the four normal states?

When two BP Application Servers are on a separate network but use with the same database. Scheduler in the same network with RR must assign a Schedule to an RR PC. This is a prerequisite for customers who think highly of security.

Hi Team, Blue Prism has a very good option for comparing blue prism versioning for saved/updated/ imported releases or changes. This would be great idea and enhancement to blue prism that if we could provide Versioning integration capabilities to Github as we all aware that Github is widely used as Code repository across the industry. This feature will let helps the developer team to merge code and rollback to previous versions if required rather than going and comparing xml files manaully. I think there should be a community edition/Trial version of all product like decipher or interact to learn and dig into that product. That will help to learn the platform and will increase the interest of learning.

Add a hotkey+scroll shortcut to hop between page tabs. At the moment we can hover the mouse over the page list drop down arrow and use the mouse scroll wheel to move between pages. This means moving the mouse to a small target area first however and I would argue takes more time and effort than just selecting the relevant page tab or using the drop down list. With a hotkey+scroll combo it doesn't matter where on the screen the mouse cursor is and would facilitate fast and easy page hopping, especially between nearby pages. We currently have the following mouse scroll wheel shortcuts (that I know of):
CTRL+SCROLL : scroll viewport left/right
SHIFT+SCROLL : zoom in/out
ALT+SCROLL doesn't seem to do anything at this stage.

The current match types available to Element attributes in the application modeller include that of wildcards and reg ex’s, primarily designed for usage on Text, Value or other string-based attributes. I am looking to get that capability extended to X Paths/HTML Paths and Element ID’s/Web Class. At this moment in time, the use of wildcards only covers a low number of Path levels such as final element identifiers (Button) or sub final DIV’s; does not allow for full Reg Ex’s or Wildcards to be used on every layer of the HTML code and Reg Ex’s are very hit and miss when it comes to applying them to HTML Paths.
The usage of wildcards and Reg Expressions does cause an Invocation error when utilising the Chrome Plug in, so any improvement on the true error thrown, for issue resolution purposes would also be a bonus.
Reason for Request –
A scenario whereby the need to have dynamic Path finding for buttons within our application has arisen, due to multiple layered buttons of the same type being available. The use of inferior interaction methods such as UIA, AA or simplified Browser attributes produces a slow and cumbersome interaction time, reducing our process benefit and having the capability of Reg Ex and Wildcard at all levels of HTML Paths will significantly improve the performance of our automation.

Can we have an option to view a new process/object without actually importing to our BP database ? Many times we just want to explore some new Dx VBO/Skill/Process without intending to use it in development . This is not possible without importing the process/object first . This creates a long list in studio of the processes/objects which we just imported out of curiosity or review purposes. My proposal is to have either right click option on any xml to view in BP , or to have to an option inside BP to preview without actually importing

When debugging in Process Studio (or Object Studio), it's rather tedious to go to the debug speed toolbar button, open it and drag the speed slider to a new position. It would be great to have a keyboard shortcut (e.g. CTRL+ and CTRL-) to speed up or slow down.

Hi, when you design a form with many fields and the fields are depending on various conditions (based on the user choosing the value from combo box for example) we have to define hidden, mandatory condition for each field. If you have many fields it is becoming a nightmare as the number of conditions is growing significantly. Would it be possible to create a virtual element or group to which I assign the fields and then I build the condition on that virtual element or group. That means instead of 10 or 20 conditions for each particular field I will have only one for that virtual element or group. Regards, Zdenek

It is in fact the age of the dark background, and while maybe that is a step too far for Blue Prism though I would love it, I would at least love to have something that isn't the white light of Blue Prism studio/control room burning into my retinas ~5 hours a day. Some ability to control background would be nice, even just to mute the white light a little. Even better would be a good dark mode

Today, Login Agent and Credential Manager are setup in the way that only single windows account is allowed to login and run processes on a particular PC. This is not optimal if your organization cares about Digital Worker separation of Duties. Let's say you have one worker performing HR duties and the other Finance. HR worker runs payroll on the weekends and Finance worker runs Mon-Fri. In today's world, we need to standup two VMs to accommodate. My proposal is to modify Login Agent and Credential Management to allow any number of windows accounts to login to a single VM one after another ( not at the same time ). This will allow for more efficient use of hardware and not affect licensing or RPA operations.

The supplier of the webservices we are consuming have a lot of custom headers in the HTTP call itself, not in the HTTP Body where the SOAP headers lie. In the current functionality you can add username and password to the HTTP headers, but this doesn’t suffice for our need. We need to SHA256 hash the entire body and add this as a header, then we need to add several identifying headers like an organizationId, a userId, the IP we are sending the request from, a timestamp, the target destination, etc. Then all the headers must be packed into a string and RSA SHA256 signed and added as a final header. This is an implementation of this HTTP signature standard with a few specialized extra headers. If we don’t sign our http packets we don’t get through the security features of the back end system and are not able to run the soap webservice.
When I’ve been researching this I’ve found several forum posts that need something similar, i.e. this one but your support has confirmed to me that this isn’t possible. The solution we have chosen is to make a program and import it as a dll that acts as our own proxy that does all of this and sends the http call for us and return it into blue prism as a string. But then we must run the wsdl through an external tool to make our own SOAP calls, and parse the resulting soap xml ourselves and make our own error handling each time. This is time consuming and error prone, so it would have been very nice if we could have added these headers to the HTTP call similarly to how we can do it for REST APIs. Preferably we would have wished that you implemented the signing standard directly, that would have saved us from even more work.
