Taking advantage of the pole of our colleague I believe that the blue prism could have new active functions such as GetObjectName() to capture the object name and GetActionName() to capture the name of the action, thinking of a way to create expressions that altomatize what our colleague expressed in this publication or even that even captures the resolution of the screen for validations in the process and is not necessary to use exernos artifacts to capture. The Process Assessment Tool can be further improved by adding ROI KPI. Currently, the process shows Potential hours and capital savings. However, there should be provision to calculate the total cost involved as part of License cost+Development cost+ Infra support & Maintainance cost+ other licensing costs (if any)+ support model cost to show how many years would it take to reap benefits. Sometimes the process gets rejected considering the ROI on first-year implementation cost vs over the year the ROI turns out to be positive considering no build cost would be involved.

Hi Team, Blue Prism has a very good option for comparing blue prism versioning for saved/updated/ imported releases or changes. This would be great idea and enhancement to blue prism that if we could provide Versioning integration capabilities to Github as we all aware that Github is widely used as Code repository across the industry. This feature will let helps the developer team to merge code and rollback to previous versions if required rather than going and comparing xml files manaully. Hi, I am dealing with a project consists of hundreds of credentials which will be updated once or twice in a week. Its difficult for us to remember when was the last updated date and time. So I think in such scenarios it will be very helpful if there is a additional column mentioning last modified date and time of a credential in Credential Manager.

Currently it is possible to create several references to the same object (process and VBO) resulting in having to 'names' in different locations in the tree view. Following example assume there is one object (process or VBO) XML that is referenced by two names, objectA and objectB This causes several issues:
objectA is in a restricted group preventing any modification but it is still possible to import objectB to another group and will allow to change the XML by changing objectB although this should be prevented by restrictions on objectA. This is a security hole.
It is not obvious if or how many references exist to one object XML. Applying 'delete object' action on one reference actually deletes the XML and all depending references. Deletion of objectA also deletes objectB without warning.
Creating a release adds all references to an object and will be imported accordingly, messing up organization by groups. Assuming objectA is in group projectA and there is this other reference objectB in group projectB. If I create a release for projectA and add the objects from this group into a release, also the other references are added from group projectB. When importing the release for projectA there will also a group created named projectB
There is no distinction if there are X references or if there is only one reference to an object XML. So it is possible to remove a reference to an object in tree view making it inaccessible, although the XML is still in DB.
It is not obvious when a reference is created. For example objectA is exported. Afterwards the objects is relocated to another group and renamed to objectB. The previous export of objectA is imported again which results in having two references to the same object. There will be notification if the object should be replaced during the import but the replacement only refers to the XML but not to the references/names.
In contrast I cannot think of any case to have references to the same object.

I believe that we could have registered in the bank of each event in which the resource / process entered notice when executing, this is just before the execution time. Storing this information can provide important insights for decision making.

If we would like to monitor processes on weekends, process which are time sensitive and if laptop is not accessible, monitoring process in control room via mobile device would be really helpful.

Instead of dragging and drop processes on Resource or vice versa, it would save lot of time if right click on resource display 5 most recent processes ran and can be able to start.

Hello Team, I think adding an user friendly functionality to monitor BOT capacity is needed. This will help Admins to evaluate what is the capacity and how much they are left with. Regards, Manas

Blue Prism client: System, User Roles: Add role control point (new checkbox) to be able to “View” credentials. Today checking the credential box in the role gives full access. It would also be nice to also have another role control point (new checkbox) to be able to change the name and password only (but not change the Access Rights). Note: this control point does not need (but could) to be able to change the UserId.

The current match types available to Element attributes in the application modeller include that of wildcards and reg ex’s, primarily designed for usage on Text, Value or other string-based attributes. I am looking to get that capability extended to X Paths/HTML Paths and Element ID’s/Web Class. At this moment in time, the use of wildcards only covers a low number of Path levels such as final element identifiers (Button) or sub final DIV’s; does not allow for full Reg Ex’s or Wildcards to be used on every layer of the HTML code and Reg Ex’s are very hit and miss when it comes to applying them to HTML Paths.
The usage of wildcards and Reg Expressions does cause an Invocation error when utilising the Chrome Plug in, so any improvement on the true error thrown, for issue resolution purposes would also be a bonus.
Reason for Request –
A scenario whereby the need to have dynamic Path finding for buttons within our application has arisen, due to multiple layered buttons of the same type being available. The use of inferior interaction methods such as UIA, AA or simplified Browser attributes produces a slow and cumbersome interaction time, reducing our process benefit and having the capability of Reg Ex and Wildcard at all levels of HTML Paths will significantly improve the performance of our automation.

Currently (6.4) when being in Control and show the Today 's activities and then right click on a schedule to start, the Today view disappears and the Schedule is displayed. It would be great to not change the view when right-clicking something but keep what is currently displayed and just open the context menu of whatever was right clicked (eg Schedule). This way it would be possible to simply see what is going on and was happened and if necessary (re-)start a schedule and still seeing current activities, because this what we are doing 95% of the time. Now we have to open Today, switch to the Schedule to be started, switch back to Today; maybe have to start another Schedule or the job failed again, so switching back to Schedule to start the job, switching back to Today, ....

In the Session list , under the user column it just shows [scheduler]. Can we also add the schedule name which actually triggered the process. I feel it would be very useful . Or maybe while hovering over , the actual schedule name can be displayed

My suggestion would be to create an additional Windows Service specifically for Data Gateway and no longer have it as part of the Blue Prism Server Service. This would allow users of the Data Gateway to stop and start the Data Gateway service to troubleshoot issues without having to take down Blue Prism 100% just to resolve a Data Gateway issue.

We have just started creating Templates on our BP Servers but we find that we cannot lock down those templates so the developers are unable to change them. When deselecting the "Edit Process" or "Edit Business Object" options in Access Rights, the "Save As" option is greyed out in the menu. Having the "Save As" option enabled when deselecting the aforementioned options in Access Rights would be beneficial for us. Failing that, having a read-only option with "Save As" enabled would also suffice.
