Upgrading RIP to use the modern RESTful API rather than the legacy/proprietary AWD/View API is a facilitator for removal of legacy constraints in the product around field lengths such as LOB field names and values.

On the Generic Rendezvous Maintenance page, it is difficult to know which Business Area/Work Type/Status combination is being selected unless you select each line individually. The 'Rendezvous Records' window width displays about 20 characters. Since a Business Area and Work Type can each be up to 10 characters long, the status information does not display in this narrow window.

As a developer, I would like to be able to be able to perform a Data Quality Assessment on a random sample of fields by data type. Today only Blue Prism Professional Services can do this.

As a customer, I would like Document Automation to be able to classify, identify and extract text from a variety of computer generated forms. Forms that have the same information but look slightly differently so the fields are not always in the same place. Document Automation must be able to do this along side handing many structured documents. Today Document Automation only handles documents that are fixed and structured.

As an administrator I would like to be able to manage and access multiple Document Automation workflow from a single userid. Today I have to have a different userid for every workflow. Including a separate userid for dev and prod environments.

Currently, UXbuilder doesn't list all UX services present in the environment. By switching on the browser network console, I've observed that it gets first 100 services in alphabetical order (which includes automation services, presentation flows, sampling services, UX Services). So, if my UX service name is not listed in the first 100 services, it wouldn't show it up in Service Configuration of UXbuilder in 22.1. Not sure if this is fixed in later versions.

Oracle RAC (two & three-instance cluster, configured via Oracle for load-balancing). Oracle19.
I have found that this version of BPMChorus, when deployed on TCServer, has application start-up errors when the database is a load-balanced Oracle RAC.
BPMChorus 21.2.1.0 has a catalina.properties file that references 3 JDBC XA datasources. In a load-balanced oracle configuration, the application exhibits ORA-24798 errors when starting up.
My team has determined that these errors only occur when there is a load-balanced oracle rac configuration. If we configure our oracle rac to be a single-instance OR a cluster set up in fail-over configuration, then the application starts up cleanly & does not present the errors.
We have found that we can configure Oracle to have an XA dtp-enabled service on each instance, then configure the catalina.properties file to 'hard-code' all XA transactions to a single-instance on our oracle cluster. However, this workaround simply negates the advantage of a load-balanced oracle cluster.
We have learned that SS&C has tested this software in 2 manners: against a single-instance of oracle (for test environments) and against a fail-over oracle cluster. But, it hasn't been tested against a load-balanced oracle cluster. My request is to enhance the software to better manage its XA connections against a load-balanced oracle rac cluster. In the event that this enhancement cannot be made, my recommendation would be for SS&C to update documentation to indicate the Oracle scenarios on which their software has been proven to work & on which scenarios it has not been tested/confirmed.

In Portal 20.2, if you have a form that exceeds a certain width, the color format in the custom css does not cover the entire form. If the css does have a color other than white for the background, it should cover the entire form with all fields no matter the width of the form.

Rules Integration – I would like to see a toolset, like Drools, embedded into the AWD UI. I would like to define “Rule Automation Services” that invoke those rules. It should all be integrated into the user experience, and give the appearance that AWD process development implements the ability to administrate complex rules.

The Rule Automation Services should be able to be modified outside the processes that consume them, just like automation services. Perhaps this would be administrated separately from process administration.
