As a process designer I would like to be able to compare two versions of a model and for the differences to be highlighted in Design Studio. This will help me identify and assess the impact of changes. The bpmn.io framework used by Design Studio supports this capability, but we currently need to export models to use it.

When generating letters using Chorus Communications, there are a number of options that are only available from the Packaging screen. This means this functionality can only be accessed in a Presentation Flow and it must be manually updated by a user. For instance, changing the output from Print to Email, or selecting enclosures. We would like all of this functionality available by other means to support automation. For instance, via webservice calls or via a custom cog in Design. The goal is to be able to access these additional functionality from an Automation Service so we can have a wider range of letters that do not require human interaction.

When a user creates an item using the Create Work card, the work item doesn't show the current step of the item. It only shows the first step for that process. The user has to open the item or search for the item separately to see the item move through the process.

Many organizations have their own PDD templates (logo changes, introductory text, font...). To increase the value of BP Capture, it would be useful to have the option to modify the template, so that the output could be used as-is (or require less updating). With the current situation, Capture is limited to providing screenshots, which the analyst then copies to their PDD template.
As an interim measure, it would be useful to have a technical specification of the used styles, since the style documents are available and could be modified manually.

Hi, I would like Interact users to resize columns in form tables based on their requirements. Currently the columns are fixed size and the user has no option to resize the columns where some can contain only few characters whereas others can contain longer data. Regards Zdenek

I would like to see the following piece of functionality added to the process/object studio. Holding {CTRL} + {+}/{CTRL}+{-} or {CTRL} + {UpScrollWheel}/{CTRL}+{DownScrollWheel} should Zoom In and Out of the page. Similar functionality exists in applications such as Excel/Visual Studio/SSMS.

Backword compatability from version 6.6 to 6.5 or earlier having problems because of the change in the Elements. in 6.6 element is <display x="-195" y="-105" w="150" h="90" /> where as in V6.5 <displayx>-195</displayx> <displayy>105</displayy> <displaywidth>150</displaywidth> <displayheight>90</displayheight> Can we create an object to replace <display x="-195" y="-105" w="150" h="90" /> with <displayx>-195</displayx> <displayy>105</displayy> <displaywidth>150</displaywidth> <displayheight>90</displayheight> Which eliminate the canvas is messed up with all the actions and data items overlapping on each other.

Hi All, I guess most of us would have come across this issue whenever we try to use excel macros (MS excel VBO) that "macro error pop ups" If we could create a action in ms excel VBO, to close the error pop up and carry the error note inside the object that will be great.

Currently renaming user roles in Blue Prism is only possible by mouse click. It should be possible to use Windows standard [F2]-key for renaming user role names (similar as it is already possible in Studio with folder/group names). This will also come handy when automating Blue Prism application (as being official suggested since no API is available).

We have 100+ processes and 300+ schedules in production. There is scheduled patch update and security updates every week/ month. so retiring all schedules weekly/monthly is mundane task. Blueprsim should have a mechanism to freeze all schedules within a time range to resolve this problem.

Hello Team, The idea is to have a possibility to see the description of the input parameter when the Admin executes the process in the Control Room.
For new admins and developers can be very helpful. Have a nice day.

When zooming in Process/Object Studio, the font always stays the same size. This decreases usability as many times users change the zoom level, it is because stage names cannot be read. Zooming doesn't help here as it only changes the size non-textual elements are rendered in but the font stays at the previous level.

When spying things in loaded web applications, checking or not for one criteria in the application modeler can have HUGE impact on the spying speed and process execution.
When using the Highlight feature, I would like to have a printout saying how much time it took to find the feature, this way I can try to optimize the criteria selection more efficiently than by counting time in my head.
An optimizer could do the job more efficiently by toggling systematically some selected criteria, then logging the time it took and the number of matches. The user would then select the options he/she prefers (sorted by spying duration) and check if the right thing was spied.

I have a bit of a bugbear with BP and it's column widths. There are multiple areas in the Blue Prism GUI where information is presented in columns, but by default, the columns are kept very narrow, even when the content is often long (for example the 'Description' column in the processes section of Control Room; The 'Name' column in Releases and the 'Description' column of Environment variables under Settings). My issue is that I resize the columns to sizes that make sense for me, but the second I click to another screen in BP and then click back, the default column sizes return and I have to re-size the columns again. When switching back and forth between screens to do comparisons, this can get boring really quickly. So, to arrive at our destination: the idea is to remember changes to column widths and reinstate them on re-rendering of the screen rather than reverting to default values every time.

The count of components depending on Message Broker RabbitMQ is growing. At the time of writing I know of the following components.
Blue Prism Hub/Interact
Blue Prism Decipher IDP
Even if there is some documentation on RabbitMQ.com I found not much documentation from Blue Prism. There is some very basic information in the installation guides of Hub/Interact and Decipher. But I miss the bigger picture and a focus on security. Please consider to add documentation that can give answers to the following questions.
Is it recommended or even viable to share one RabbitMQ server instance in a BPA environment with Decipher and Hub/Interact? (Currently the installation guide only describes from the perspective of the component, not seeing the big picture.)
Does RabbitMQ offer Active Directory Intergration with SSO (without providing username and password, direct passthrough)?
Is it really needed to use RMQ management plugin to operate a RabbitMQ server instance?
Which operating system (Windows or Linux) is best to be chosen for RabbitMQ?
Are there any restrictions when preferring Windows over Linux?
What about Authentication and Authorization?
Is it recommended or even viable to use a technical service domain user account, and if yes how?
Can/should guest user (default Admin account !) be deactivated before installation, and if yes how?
What about encryption?
Is encryption needed, recommended, and if yes which is supported and how does it interoperate with the Blue Prism components?
Is there professional support available, and if yes will it be provided by Blue Prism or someone else?

For now when we expose a process as a web service it remains resource dependent , in other words that resource should be always up and running else the service will return timeout . Can we make the exposure of service as either Application server dependent or queue dependent . This will also help with Load balancing as there is no such mechanism to share load out,now for exposed service.

Presently we are capable of accessing the screen capture related to the latest exception stage via the control room per RPA Bot.
In a practical environment where the Bot's are executing queue based items, the exception stage is handled. Therefore the bot moves on to the next queue item available.
When all the items in the queue completes a report is generated to the admin stating the status of each item. Therefore if more than one queue item raise exception stages, then at the time of inspection by the system admin, only the latest exception stage screen capture per Bot is preserved. The admin will not be able to have a graphical state of the the system or the environment for the exception stages raised by previous queue items executed by the same bot! The snapshot of the environment will definitely lead towards quickly identifying the issue a bot is facing in most occasions. Therefore it will be greatly beneficial to have a way of preserving the exception stage related screen capture per item key (historical screen captures)

When sharing the BP database within a large company, the number of processes and objects and the group folder they're save on might grow very long. Finding the process or object you're working on might require a number of clicks.
This behavior is not helped by the fact that the Studio panel groups are collapsed again every time you visited another panel such as the Control Room. 1. Don't collapse groups in Studio once opened, leave them expanded even when returning to Studio when other panels are visited. 2. Create the possibility to mark my projects so I can find them easily by a single click. See MS Visual Studio or open source Eclipse how it is done there. I reckon both these options would be nice to have in Control Room also...
