Allow a user to open up and interact with WORD documents while editing a letter in Communications. Clients often have to refer to multiple documents when creating a letter to be issued, Currently having other WORD docs open when editing a letter in Chorus Communications results in unpredictable behavior e.g. edits being lost.

A significant number of documents sent for quality review are failed for due to issues with values configured in the Packaging Details task. As of now we are unaware of any way to edit any of those values after the document is released to quality review. This causes the user to rewrite the entire document. We would like a way to edit those values when making corrections to an existing document.

It is my understanding that the communications print server prints one document at a time. If for some reason the current print job is corrupted or slow performing a bottleneck is created for other released documents. We'd like to see an option to print up to x (configurable) documents concurrently.

The Chorus 'ROS' functionality currently requires that all Chorus users are given access to write and/or delete files from the template directory. PLRE considers this at minimum an operational risk, as there is no way to prevent users from deleting/altering the templates and/or adding further templates which are then available to other users. We would like the Chorus ROS process to remove the requirement for update access to the template folder so that all non-admin users can have only read access.

We believe an upgrade to allow Admin/Design Users to define a Web location for Retrieving Correspondence Enclosures would be extremely helpful. #design #Communications #enclosure

Character limitation affects the in the below 3 ways: 1) client reference field - Client's reference field is longer than the 75 char 2) Unable to upload a document when it's filename is >75 char. 3) When the email subject line exceeded 99 characters, Chorus stops responding. Request you to remove this limitation.

When generating letters using Chorus Communications, there are a number of options that are only available from the Packaging screen. This means this functionality can only be accessed in a Presentation Flow and it must be manually updated by a user. For instance, changing the output from Print to Email, or selecting enclosures. We would like all of this functionality available by other means to support automation. For instance, via webservice calls or via a custom cog in Design. The goal is to be able to access these additional functionality from an Automation Service so we can have a wider range of letters that do not require human interaction.

Electronic communications with customers (as PDF attachments) are often sent password-protected, requiring the customer to enter a piece of data known only to them. This enhancement potentially prevents/reduces the potential for fraudulent activity should a customer communication end up in the wrong hands. For email communication, there is the concern that emails could either be intercepted in transit or opened by someone other than the intended recipient.

Currently in AWD 20.3 the max length of a manually created variable is limited to 75 characters. Client has need where they enter up to a 750 character variable text that they need to be included in letter. Within Communications - Data Source Setup, created variable with field type of "textarea" but length cannot be set beyond 75 characters. Has this been addressed in later release? On horizon? If not then this is desired so larger text variables could be passed into Word during letter generation.

Currently conditional content relies on variable or LOB data to select content. Our clients need an option to let the user select content from a list presented in Word that is driven by conditional content rules. Alternately providing a simple list of content to choose from fulfills the need.

Using Communications to send emails, I need the ability to auto-populate multiple CC recipients rather than only being able to auto-populate the recipient and one CC Recipient. In the manually process I can only add additional CC recipients from the document delivery screen but cannot store or capture those recipients in the process. With automated emails I can only send multiple emails to include more that one CC Recipient.

Using CDOC, we need the ability to request and resubmit a previously completed communications document using the same recipient block. Allow Communications to automatically resend the document that was originally sent or mailed to the recipient after XX number of days based on logic that is built within the Process Model. More importantly, if the original document was edited before being created in Communications (ie. Insert Content) we want those edits to be included in any additional attempts. Currently, if we try to automate a 2nd delivery of a document, Communications will send the document, but any edits that were made to the original document from the first attempt are not being captured. (See attached screen shots) We would like Communications to function like Encorr did in terms of sending a copy of the original document, including any edits that were made.

BPO needs the ability to sort Deferred letters needing printed by Business Area versus Client. Client is shared across BA's to take advantage of Conditional Content and reduce the amount of Content and Composition stored. Using CDOC maybe the object id could be stored/presented by BA.

Having a 'view only' role would allow reps to see the full content of a letter template without going through the process of creating a letter to see the details. The existing Association Report does not sufficiently provide the full details of the templates or reusable content.
