Hey Blue Prism Team & Community, unfortunatly there is no way to authenticate at a Webservice with the currently logged in user using Blue Prisms WebAPI as the support told me. You have to store your credentials in the credentials section and select them directly from the WebAPI. There is no way to dynamically change the user to the currently logged in user. This could be easily enabled by adding a Checkbox or an option to the WebAPI common authentication types which sets "UseDefaultCredentials=true" at the outgoing request. For anyone else comming up with the same question my simply advice would be to not to use Blue Prisms WebAPI feature and better build up your own request using the HTTP Utility VBO. ... View more

Data Gateway currently allow to export session logs to different data storage solutions. the information involved in the session logs would allow to work very well on troubleshooting tasks. Currently the event structure doesn't allow for queue workitem data to be sent with each event as well. Of course not all of the events happen while working on a workitem. But by an Analysis perspective, in case the session is working on a specific workitem, it would be useful to have each event carrying information that would help to identify to which workitem those session logs are related. ... In some cases, resources and servers may not be able to communicate halfway. In the control room, the status is connected, and there is no error display on the resource PC side. However, there are cases where the schedule cannot be cast from the server side to the resource PC or the process cannot be executed manually. Restarting the resource PC or runtime does not improve the situation. After all, restarting the server-side service can only improve the situation. Currently, you can store the encryption key as a file on the Application Server. When you have multiple Application Servers connecting to the same Blue Prism DB, each Application Server needs to share the same encryption key. Idea is based on observations in BP 7.3.2. In Control, opening Session Management/Today in left navigation tree, then in the upper right window showing resources registered in this environment; there is a column names 'Latest Connection Message' and the default size of this column is about 3/4 of the screen thus only a small part of this column is visible.  In order to see if and what was the latest connection message, we have to always, every time when switching to Control tab, resize this column just to see it is empty.  I would suggest to auto-size this column so all size of column header if empty, size of content text if there is any, and/or to have all column resize so all of them fit on the screen, with first column ('Name' of the resource) to always show all text.  ...
