Release management is one of the key activity when it comes to manage the processes versions. we create packages and we take release from it as and when required and we need to name the release manually every time with own naming convention. it would be good if an automatic version of the each release can be generated while taking the release prompt a pop up which allows to accept/reject the release version. if accept then create a release with same as process name with version automatically. also the pop up will give a area to add the description to that release, why that version is generated where reason is added to justify it. example: PID_001_Process_Order_Creation i create a package with name UAT_PID_001_Process_Order_Creation similarly for PROD_PID_001_Process_Order_Creation as i need to take multiple releases as and when changes are done, blueprism can just create a release with a version. Example: UAT_PID_001_Process_Order_Creation_0.1 Desc : initial release for UAT UAT_PID_001_Process_Order_Creation_0.2 Desc : bug fixed and changes added as per the business requirement in order status. PROD_PID_001_Process_Order_Creation_0.1 Desc : initial prod release it saves time of the developer and will not mislead if there are too many releases in backup. this automatic versioning will be maintained automatically by allowing auditors to track, when and how many releases are taken and the reason of it by looking into the description and version number. Looking forward to hear back from team on the same. will be adding more details to it if this idea is worth. Thanks

Backword compatability from version 6.6 to 6.5 or earlier having problems because of the change in the Elements. in 6.6 element is <display x="-195" y="-105" w="150" h="90" /> where as in V6.5 <displayx>-195</displayx> <displayy>105</displayy> <displaywidth>150</displaywidth> <displayheight>90</displayheight> Can we create an object to replace <display x="-195" y="-105" w="150" h="90" /> with <displayx>-195</displayx> <displayy>105</displayy> <displaywidth>150</displaywidth> <displayheight>90</displayheight> Which eliminate the canvas is messed up with all the actions and data items overlapping on each other.

Would be nice to have a possibility to group work queues in case there is more than one work queue for a process or there is a wish to split by countries etc. The work queue list is getting too big when there are more processes developed.

Right now, only Session Logs/Published Dashboards/Custom Object Data can be sent to the output by Data Gateways. It would be great if Windows Event Logs of Runtime Resources could be sent to the output because we can obtain and analyze the event logs at nearly real time by, say, Splunk. When the Runtime Resources are Physical Desktops, it would be great helpful.

I think it will be very useful for Business perspective if there is a feature which shows the number of downloads of an Asset that is published on DX.

Current Decipher VBO - Next Completed Batch action returns the oldest Batch from RabbitMQ and once the batch is retrieved from RMQ the record is deleted. It would be good to be able to retrieve a specific Batch from Rabbit MQ by specifying the Batch ID as an input parameter on the Next Completed Batch action. A specific batch could then be targeted by a virtual worker based on a Batch ID which could help open up additional Decipher use cases.

I would like to have ability to recognize text with different orientation. For example: I have a scan of passport (Russia). Most of the information is located horizontally, but passport's number is located vertically. I can extract all information manually: 1) Decipher extracts all horizontally information automatically 2) I make a copy, rotate it 90 degrees and merge original version with copy 3) I extract passport's number from copy manually But I would like to extract all data with Decipher automatically?

If I create a schedule in Blue Prism, it shows as the name of the schedule with the scheduled processes underneath. When I click on a process, it allows me to set the next process that will run on that schedule after the currently selected process finishes. The trouble is that the processes can be arranged in any order under the name of the schedule, even if that order isn't representative of their running order. For instance, if I have a schedule called Count, and under that schedule are processes 1, 2, and 3 in numerical order. At first glance, you'd think that they'd run in that order. However, if you click on each individual process, 3 could run first, and then 1, then 2, all based on the contents of the On Complete combo box. I'd like to see the processes reorder themselves under the schedule name based on the On Complete contents. One step further would be to allow drag and drop functionality of the processes in a particular schedule to change their order, and have the On Complete contents automatically change based on that position. I think that if the drag and drop functionality were added, and that the order of the processes under the schedule name was the actual running order of the processes, the On Complete contents wouldn't even be needed, potentially freeing some real estate for something else. I would assume this would eliminate the need for the Initial Task combo box that is displayed on the screen that appears when you select the schedule's name. ------------------------------ Tracy Lovett RPA Developer I Synovus Columbus, Georgia, USA ------------------------------

Users should be able to construct separate Queues in Decipher IDP and be able to send documents from one queue to the other (manually from the Decipher console as well as through the blue prism) based on certain circumstances and rules that can be specified in the queue configuration within Decipher.
For example, if the invoice amount exceeds $10,000, I want the document to be routed to a specified queue. As a result, organizations can allocate team members to the queue for human verification. In the current configuration, Decipher will mark this invoice as an exception putting an end to workflow. This item will now require manual work and cannot be automated.
Also, the blue prism can use these Queues to route documents from one queue to the other queue based on rule validations.
This type of queue-based system is critical for enterprise-scale OCR solutions, as it will allow enterprises to separate documents based on scenarios and assign unique human-in-the-loop roles to each Queue.

The application modeler should provide an API to interact with application elements in code stages so complex/missing functionality can be implemented. I would like to interact via C# with applications which are already connected to Blue Prism by using the functionality BP uses internally (e.g. directly accessing the .NET Process object in a code stage which holds the connection to the target application to send Win32 messages)

This can be a future enhancement to Decipher. We can add a dedicated email ID for each Decipher instance where if a user can directly send documents to that mailbox. And then Blueprism/Decipher would trigger automatically and process document and keep export-ready.

Currently Blue Prism doesn't seem too sleek when it comes to navigating the application. It feels "stuttery", and I suspect that this is due to how the graphics of the application is handled behind the scenes. Whether it is being caused by having to talk to BP-server constantly, or running single-threaded I don't know. My suggestion is simple - Take a page out of the game developers book, and implement a separate GUI that runs on its own thread regardless of what is running in the core of Blue Prism, such that our GUI is responsive at all times. This is probably not a small task, as it would alter the way the application is built from the core and up. But it would help increase the quality of the product I think vs. your competitors.

Hi All, As we all know, most of the question or discussions raised by fellow community members are already present in the pool of answers. It would be great of we can have a dedicated section in community portal for frequently asked questions (ordering learning edition, resetting login password etc..)so that any one can look for their answers here as a first preference instead of posting a fresh thread. They can post a new thread if dont find their required inputs/resolution.

Currently when installing Decipher Licensing service for v2.1 there are two parts to improve: 1) Hide the password value (or make it visible on demand) when entering RabbitMQ user's password during installation. 2) Extend the characters limitations for the RabbitMQ password and RabbitMQ user values. Currently RabbitMQ and Decipher Licensing do not let though user name with other characters than alphas (issues as in automation most of user names contains alphanumeric values and some special chars as "_", "-", etc.), and the password field can not access special characters at all (only alphanumeric) which is reducing the security layer of whole solution. NOTE: It may be a limitation on RabbitMQ side but as a business partner, you should be interested in getting this fixed if so.

Recently i have used Amazon Textract VBO from BP DX. So as BP control room have credentials section with restrictions for access for selected user roles, processes and machines etc. But it does not provide access for selected business objects. And hence using Get Credentials action in Amazon Textract Basic business object; it cannot access my credentials for AWS subscription stored in Credentials section in Control Room. So Get Credentials action used in any Business Object must access credentials stored in Blue Prism Control Room.

White building a test suite that will be used for validation and for regression testing , it will be useful after running this test suite to have a kind of code coverage (or Process stages coverage) informations. This code coverage can provide us with statistics like: · % of items in the process we didn’t path through. (it will be a good coverage indicator) · A list of these Items so we can enrich our test and enhance our test coverage. · Number of times we passed in the same path or sequence, so we can optimize our test suite by reducing test without compromising quality. · Object and objects ’actions called during these tests. · Credentials not used, Queues not used, … · …. This code coverage will also help identifying in production what objects are no more used and which paths in the processes we never go through in production.

Moving processes/objects from one group to another (given that we have hundreds of processes/objects), is the most painful process ! he original method, way back in v4?, where you moved them under Process/Object Management option on the System Menu, although not perfect, was much easier. It could really do with a bulk option too.
