Process and objects can be restricted from studio via access restrictions between different roles. But on the same note, Queues cannot be restricted between groups/users. Its directly exposed in Control room for all users who have access to the BP instance. The impact is that, when we have shared environment, there is ask to get the access restricted for Queue for complaint reasons as the item tag can have any unique values between roles. Just because we are unable to do it, it leads to create a separate BP Database which in turn leads to additional maintenance, cost and housekeeping etc., It would be great if the feature can be introduced to have the restriction in place for queues as well. Thanks in advance

Hi Support Team, For Controllers - Who need to handle multiple processes in production environment, and suppose there are around 300 to 400 environment variables and need to update environment variables - It takes more time to find environment variables with dropping down scroll bar. Instead of this, Blue Prism should provide the search or find box, by that way user can find environment variables and change value. It will save time for controllers.

Not able to use active queue and resource pools functionality, because it is not applicable for multiple users. We have to dedicate particular VDI to schedule robots and it cause us lots of scheduling incidents

Would be good to be able to stop all schedules from running so that if you want to halt the system (upgrade, urgent service window) you can stop all schedules from running rather than having to go through them all one by one stopping them. Allow them to end gracefully and then be able to restart them all rather than having to start them individually as well.

As we develop a process on daily basis. Count of environment variable increases day by day. Although all environment variable store in dictionary format i.e. in alphabetic order. But still its a big task to search environment variable from that long list of pages. We should include search functionality there as same as process and object search in studio tab.

Would it be possible for new versions of BluePrism to connect to older version BP servers? I do understand why old version would not be able to connect to new server, but the other way around should be very possible and with multiple environments, where production is usually upgraded the last I believe the ability of new version to connect to older server would be incredibly helpful.

Hi Team, We have 60+ Process created and each process has average of 10 to 15 environment variables, which is going to nearly 600+ Environment variables created. The challenges we are facing is searching the required environment variables to update values. As there are many Env. Var. created, we see that, slowness in scrolling to required variable. This we are facing for 60+ Process, if we cross 100+ process, it will be tedious to serach the required Env. variable. So, is it possible to allow developer to create a folder for the respective process, under that, he/she can create environment variables with respect to that process. So for 60 process, we will end up in creating 60 folders, under that we can have 'n' number of Env. variables. This will be easy to search the variable, fast accessing and will be well organized. Please let me know, if this can be implemented in all version of BP (atleast starting from 6.8.0). I have attached reference screenshot of control room, same way, if you could implement for Environment variables also.

In our Decipher implementation, we have different use cases - some of these need class verification enabled and some do not. Currently, enabling/ disabling class verification will allow/ skip class verify for all of the batch types. Please enable new setting in batch type settings as Automatically skip Class Verify”.

There is no search bar to Quickly search for an exact match for the environment variables or Credentials in Blue Prism System Tab. I am working in Version 6.9.0 where this functionality is already available in studio but its not present in the system tab. And same with the latest V7.0 version. Kindly check for possiblity to add this feature in the upcoming or current versions.

Hi Team, I would suggest to add grouping in Environmental Variable list. For example for a process we can create one group folder and can put all the related Environmental Variables. Because its difficult to manage all the Environmental variables when the number is very huge. The grouping must be like Process/Object/ Queue grouping.

Hi, even though Blue Prism installer for 64 bit operating system is available Blue Prism application itself is still only 32 bit which limits working especially with large collections. There are workarounds but it would be so much easier having Blue Prism application truly 64 bit.

When object name is changed then in all processes where this object was used it no longer exists in the actions and it should be again added for all the missing actions. It could be the same as for process - when the name is changed it still exists in other processes where it is used as it is referenced by ID I guess.

The existing design control covers quite a lot in terms of usable syntax and logic errors but it is limited with best practice checking. There should be a base set of configurable best practice controls set up based on peer review documents. Example controls: Overcomplicated pages - Check for X number of stages. Stages that could be sub-pages - Check for duplicate named sequences of stages. Possible infinite loops - Check to ensure a decision stage exists between a set of links that go backwards. Attach stages at the beginning of actions - Check for an attach after a Start stage These are just some possible controls. Rules should be developed based on the existing peer review checklists on the portal. Organisations should have some flexibility in modifying the controls and increasing/decreasing thresholds based on their own needs.

When we rename the data item there is no option to update renamed data item name in all stages. Developer need to manually update all stages. BP should provide option to update all stages. Let me know if you need any other info.
