There should be a way to create/modify schedules in Blueprism Control room via API or command Line (AutomateC), preferably via API.

When closing Process Studio or Object Studio, you are prompted to add a change description and save your changes. Sometimes, it's hard to remember what you've changed - or whether you even want to save those changes at all. I would love you to add a "show changes" button to this dialog box, so I can see the differences between the saved version and the version I'm closing. This would not only help me to describe the changes I've made, but also allow me to avoid saving changes that were just made while experimenting.

Hello all,
Thanks to Interact tool, which allows the creation of forms for interaction between Human Worker and Digital Worker, we have come across different business opportunities related to the use of mobile devices and tablets, which our client uses as company devices.
However, although we have observed that Interact tool is very powerful for Human-Robot communication, we have realized that when the interaction is carried out through mobile devices and tablets, the virtual keyboard does not appear on the Authentication Server home screen to enter user credentials. This problem, on the other hand, does not occur once access to the Interact application has been granted.
Kindly thumbs up and support the idea to solve this interaction problem on devices such as mobile phones and tablets. This would allow to expand the business lines and automate processes that are currently not possible due to this issue.
Best Regards.

There are times when work can get stuck in a process and either be locked to SYSTEM or just plain be stuck. If this occurs, the work has to be manually aborted via a SQL update to the "state" in the WU8 DB table. This either has to be done by a DBA on a non-hosted environment or by our hosting group via a hosting ticket if they are hosted. This will then allow the work object to be aborted so it will show in the Process Monitor Aborted tab to be resumed. It would be nice if the client had an admin type tool to be able to manually abort a work object without having to update at the DB level or open a ticket with hosting to have it done.

Would be good to be able to stop all schedules from running so that if you want to halt the system (upgrade, urgent service window) you can stop all schedules from running rather than having to go through them all one by one stopping them. Allow them to end gracefully and then be able to restart them all rather than having to start them individually as well.

Give form designers more options how to structure the fields in the forms not only in sequential manner but for example in columns. Just to have better flexibility how the form elements are positioned and structured on the page to meet the user experience expectations.

We want a kill button for schedules (essentially the equivalent of immediate stop on a process). A button which would stop BluePrism from doing any further connection attempts, retries, or anything related to an instance of a scheduler run. And just mark that run as terminated. This would help when there are issues with VDIs. For example when a VDI loses connection and BluePrism continues trying to run a schedule on a VDI that it can't connect to. In some cases the schedule can even get stuck on running state for multiple days, despite nothing actually running.

Dear Blue Prism developers, I am working with Blue Prism since 2015 and literally each of our customers is asking about the same thing which is still not implemented in Blue Prism. It is some kind of view where you can see how robots are occupied with current processes in production. There is recent activity view and Timetable currently in Blue Prism but they do not show you name of the resource PC and it is a very crucial bit of information when planning robots in reality having some processes live in place. Please provide this functionality as soon as you can please!

Open JDK is OSS alternative to Oracle and might be used in future more often because of Oracle license strategy. Although Open JDK should be equivalent to Oracle JDK it is still an independent mirror of Oracle JDK and features could differ to some degree. One difference we noticed right away is the absence of WindowsAccessBridge DLL in Windows directories. Although this DLL is located in JRE directory, and might be found following Java Path. Verification of Blue Prism against Open JDK would be appreciated. Or at least to search DLL in JRE directory.

Hi, I would like to seperate how a System Exception (SE) and how a Business Exception (BE) is shown in control room. Today a BE have the same icon as a SE (a purple flag), I usually like to see a BE as that the automaton have "completed" it from a robotic point of view. I understand that the concept is that its an exception is needed to be handled manually. And i also understand that there can be several different types of exceptions (Internal, Login Failed ect), So my suggestion is that on the Exception Types configuration (System Tab), we should be able to set the icons that is shown in the work queue in control room depending on the Exception types. As an example, set an green flag instead of an purple one for BE?

To whom it may concern, We’d like to set an execution day to execute RPA and we’d like to execute RPA depending on what day of business day is today on a monthly basis as well. For example, if you want to execute it on the 5th business day of every month, you need to create a new calendar and set all the days other than the 5th business day as holidays now. This requires a lot of work and is prone to errors. We’d like you to settle this issue. We hope to hear from you.

Request to have a option to come out of Business Object along with warning threshold, so that when BP is struct in between due to popup or other reasons, it should automatically come out of the VBO and we can recover that in process. For Example: If we are working on excel and when we perform Run Macro and if there is any popup BP will be struct until someone manually open the VM and close the process. So if we have automated process to come out of the VBO after the warning threshold, then it will be helpful as we can spy the window and close the popup by using navigate stage.

Currently you can send batch metadata from Blue Prism to Decipher, however there is no way to reference the Batch Metadata within a DFD. There should be a way to reference metadata sent from Blue Prism to Decipher by use of a Formula or some other way. When a business user goes into a document to validate information being extracted, there may be certain data points that are helpful.
The files/batches could be coming from multiple folders which has a distinct way to handle certain items or based on that folder and the value, a validation list/reference from a table would be calculated.
For example in one implementation, we had client names as the folder structure and based on the folder that the document came from, certain fields could be populated based on referencing a database/table. In an ideal world, we would have just passed that information into the metadata and used a formula to then calculate those other fields but instead, a business user had to manually select the client which then calculated some fields based on the database/table causing an extra unnecessary step.

There is a security risk because there is a way to view passwords, depending on how the current credentials are obtained. We have this security risk in robot creation. Based on this, I would like to propose the following measures. 1.If the data item containing the authentication information is not of the password type, the acquisition of the authentication information results in an error. 2.Prevents casting from password-type data items to text-type data items.

During implementation or debugging you are changing objects who saved automatically but to adopt those new changes you have to refresh the process. That is in some cases not good because of specific queue items. you often have to request new test cases for example creation of po number.

When adding a Calc stage directly connected to another Calc stage, often they belong together and, in hindsight, would have been a MultiCalc instead. Changing to a MultiCalc however, requires copying the Calc properties to the MultiCalc, adding your new calculation to the MultiCalc and removing the 'old' Calc. Wouldn't it be nice if you could convert a Calc stage to a MultiCalc stage by Right-Clicking it and select where you want it to go? Obviously, when you have a MultiCalc you might want to convert it to a Calc stage or stages in the same manner.

We are able to make use of the SOAP Web Services wizard to consume web services which use Soap 1.1 , however the wizard fails for web services which use Soap 1.2 since BluePrism does not support Soap 1.2 entirely. Would request BluePrism to add SOAP 1.2 capability natively in the SOAP Web Services wizard in a future release.

Secure Active Directory queries using gMSAs instead of password-secured service accounts
Since 7.1 the only option for querying active directory domains that require authentication other than the account running BP Server is to provide the details of a service account in the Active Directory Domains configuration section in Sign-on settings
Our security policy requires that password-secured accounts have passwords that expire daily. This is unmanageable in 7.1 as it would require us to update the stored passwords in Blue Prism immediately after the passwords have changed
Ideally, we would be able to secure the Active Directory queries with a gMSA
Also, add an option to create gMSA user. Currently when we try to add AD user it only list/search the AD accounts, it is not searching the Managed Service account (MSA/gMSA). -- Get-ADSServiceAccount This will help to run the runtime as gMSA account.
