Just now I wanted to find some information if there was a known issue for a particular problem and for what release and if this issue was resolved in one of the later versions. Unfortunately the documentation for 6.x and 7.x are split and the searches have to be done at least twice for each major version, but this is OK. However, the search did not bring any useful results as the search brought up three pages of any type of document about any topic. Since I am not able to know what is the exact search term for a possible issue, I have to try several words and phrases and view all search result pages. I also just now tried to search for a specific issue (BP-5825) but could not find it in https://bpdocs.blueprism.com/ which makes sense as this issue is documented here: Support Center | Blue Prism Portal 1. it would be nice to narrow down the search to known issues & their fixes to be able to easily verify the status 2. it would be nice to have one place to look for known issues and enhancements

During change in time for Day light savings the schedule time are being changed to one hour less are more twice a year . Out of 1000 schedules, 400 are to be changed for enterprises will be tiring to change one by one scrolling and finding the corresponding schedules. It will be easier if there is a search option or filter option or sorting in the schedules tab.

In Control Room I sometimes want to put a stop request on a running session to launch another process on that resource. Depending on the nature of the process it can sometimes take a few minutes before the running session stops eventually. To plan the next process to run on that resource I have to wait for the running session to end before I can drag the next process on that resource and configure the launch parameters. How cool would it be to already drag the process next to run on that resource and configure all parameters - instead of wasting minutes to watch the running session finish?

With the last order of new licenses, we had the problem to assign the delivered license key to the right one of our multiple customers. Maybe it would be feasible to organize the license management in the Blue Prism Portal or a dedicated central license server. Following information would be needed for each license file: - The filename of the license key should contain the order and ticket number, so that by just having the filename, the license can be assigned to the order - When ordering multiple licenses, these should have the same start and end date - An overview over all ordered licenses, active as well as expired ones As you already have a tool to check and view the content of a license file, it would be nice to be able to download that tool from the same site, where we as customers access the licenses as well. Kind regards Matthias

When a breakpoint is reached in Design view, I typically need to start stepping through the stages after it. I need be able to see the stages immediately surrounding that stage. Having to manually drag the breakpoint notification out of the way every time gets tedious.

It would be nice to have a Schedule or a process easily run again with right click -> start again. The question is if the same parameters should be used again or a pop-up window to provide new ones should appear. I guess it would not harm to have a pop-up window pre-filled with the previous values. Something similar for Schedules, but the additional info to which schedule the executed process belongs to would be nice (having a column with the Schedule name would be a great improvement regardless of the re-run feature). Sometimes, in our cases often, the process fails because of a minor issue that can be resolved quickly and the process can run again. In an environment with lots of groups, process, resources, ... it is a little cumbersome to do exactly the same steps again just to start the exact same process.

The In parameters on a Page are defined on the Start stage, the Out parameters are defined on the End stage - no surprises here. On the actual Page call properties, where the Page is called, the parameters are split in an In and an Out tab, making it hard to get an instant overview of what goes in and what comes out. Wouldn't it be nice if the Page call properties would show all In and Out parameters on one tab? (...obviously mentioning what way each parameter goes...)

Enhancement request to have the ability for the system to tell you if the user being disabled is an owner of a case like it does with work in the worklist. Product Management provided the following feedback as to enhancements in the works:
We have User Admin requirements in play right now and this use case has not been addressed yet.
User Admin is undergoing enhancements to support the ability to DEACTIVATE a user ... which is different than just disabling their status.
Today, disabled is both a temporary and a permanent availability status.
When you intentionally disable somebody ... it is because you want to take away permissions (security, privileges, configurations for various teams - like a case team). We check today to handle assigned work. We don't check on any memberships anywhere else. This is a good use case.

I've seen this come up once in a security pentest, where one user name and password combination was allowed to login to multiple Interactive Clients, and this was flagged as a security risk. I've also seen this in a customer's requirements checklist, that a username/password combination cannot be used simultaneously. Consider adding a checkbox or something similar that will prevent users using Native Auth from authenticating more than once into the BP environment if checked

When using Capture the process SMEs have to slow down the process to ensure Capture can record all the key strokes and tasks. ( we currently count to 3 between each key stroke to ensure that the information is capture correctly) Is it possible to speed up the Capture software so that we don't have to implement this delay ? It is very frustrating for the business process owners if we have to keep telling them to slow down or run the same Capture process more than once to ensure that everything has been recorded.

I am using BP v6.3.2 and the Internal Object 'Work Queues' is not having an option to check the state of the Item. As of now, we are only having an Update status option available. I would recommend adding an additional option called 'Item State' without locking the item and filtering it with a given input like Tag/Item Key/Created Time etc. With this, we can see the state of Item like Exception/Completed/Pending. This might be a small concern but it would be really helpful for the developer as well for the support team with this enhancement.

I'm currently working in BP 7.0. Although there is the option to save filtered views in the Control tab, the list of saved filters just piles up under Session Management on the left-hand side. There is no way to organize this list. I propose making a way to organize this list to the user's specifications. A drag and drop method would work, or even a basic sort on A-Z would be great. If an A-Z sort was implemented, then I could rename my filters to display in the order I want because they would automatically change order to show alphabetically. Right now the order is simply 'oldest to newest' and you can't rearrange the list of saved filters. This makes it difficult to find filters when you have a decent number saved that you have to skim through.

I noticed that in process/object studio it is possible to concatenate a password obtained with the action "Get Credential" and a text variable. The result is a text variable from which every developer can get the password in clear text. This is a security issue in my opinion that could be solver if the concatenation of a password and a text was of "password" type instead of "text" type.

I have an application where all spymodes are pretty slow. It takes 6-12seconds to find a button depending on the spymode. When I have a conditional wait to wait until the button is available I actually double the waiting time. 1. Blueprism waits in the conditional wait to find the button. 2. Blueprism waits the same amount of time to find the button again to then click it. Would be better if Blueprism could click right away after the conditional wait.

Dear All, when working with different environment (develop, testing, production) and their associated databases we would find it very useful to have an Object which allows us to read out all environment variables and their corresponding values. This would have 2 benefits: * easier to verify the deployment has the correct values by running a check process * easier to document the solution design. Kind Regards Martin Reuter

Right now if any element is not found in Read, Write or navigate stage , an error message is shown like" Unable to perform xxxxx in Step x....". I think if the element not found is automatically highlighted in the application modeler would be a great time saver. I think Open Span has a similar functionality.

Hi everyone, As a best practice, we always add Wait-Check Exist right before Write, read or navigate action. If the wait stage timeouts, we throw an exception. Detail of this exception contains the element which is in Wait stage. It would be great, if there will be an "Element" variable (name of element/s as text or collection) to use in wait block. This feature will reduce development time.

Currently (6.4) when being in Control and show the Today 's activities and then right click on a schedule to start, the Today view disappears and the Schedule is displayed. It would be great to not change the view when right-clicking something but keep what is currently displayed and just open the context menu of whatever was right clicked (eg Schedule). This way it would be possible to simply see what is going on and was happened and if necessary (re-)start a schedule and still seeing current activities, because this what we are doing 95% of the time. Now we have to open Today, switch to the Schedule to be started, switch back to Today; maybe have to start another Schedule or the job failed again, so switching back to Schedule to start the job, switching back to Today, ....
