Currently, Decipher is browser-based. We can make it a standalone application. Same as what Blue Prism did with the Capture tool.

Create and manage Blue Prism users through command line options. Currently it is impossible to handle Blue Prism users in non-domain joined environment other than logging into the GUI and manually doing necessary modifications per every user. Environment were domain join is not possbie e.g. due to Blue Prism does not support trusts, handling users becomes very complicated and slow process very quickly.

It can be difficult and confusing to follow the execution stack in textual way as presented in execution logs. It would greatly improve readability if calls and executions could be collapsed and expanded to provide abstraction and drill-down function. Super extra would be to present those levels in visually. Similar to process/VBO workflows but since it is chronologically there will be only one line of execution.

We would like to see an 'Inactive User' feature or box in future Blue Prism releases. Our company has a User-it-Or-Lose-it access policy, which means that a user who hasn't logged into Blue Prism in 90 days will be required to have his access revoked. To revoke access, we delete a Blue Prism user from the environment. If the user requests access to the environment after they have been deleted, we have to engage our database administrator to undelete from the database. This adds extra time and work to the access provisioning process. We think that an 'inactive' box will allow us to revoke access and follow company policy while keeping the users in the Blue Prism environment.

I've seen this come up once in a security pentest, where one user name and password combination was allowed to login to multiple Interactive Clients, and this was flagged as a security risk. I've also seen this in a customer's requirements checklist, that a username/password combination cannot be used simultaneously. Consider adding a checkbox or something similar that will prevent users using Native Auth from authenticating more than once into the BP environment if checked

With the last order of new licenses, we had the problem to assign the delivered license key to the right one of our multiple customers. Maybe it would be feasible to organize the license management in the Blue Prism Portal or a dedicated central license server. Following information would be needed for each license file: - The filename of the license key should contain the order and ticket number, so that by just having the filename, the license can be assigned to the order - When ordering multiple licenses, these should have the same start and end date - An overview over all ordered licenses, active as well as expired ones As you already have a tool to check and view the content of a license file, it would be nice to be able to download that tool from the same site, where we as customers access the licenses as well. Kind regards Matthias

The release manager is good, but not very practical. I my workflow I would find it much easier to be able to right click a process, and the choose "export with release manager". I would then like to be able to include all objects, credentials and all other items to which to process depends. If I don't want to include some part, I'll just deselect that box. As of now, I find it hard to get an overview of which objects (etc.) that I need to export with the process.

I know that we've changed export format from BP 6.6 to optimize export file. As a IT product vendor, I don't think it's good to delete old export format functions and replace them with new format... Could you please add old export format mode?

Need to add the feature to allow people to add special weekend days as working days in the calendar. Currently, you can only set the recurring working days and holidays in the calendar. Every year the Chinese government will issue the special arrangements for weekends adjacent to some public holidays like the National Day and Labour Day. For those holidays, the adjacent weekends will become working days in exchange for a longer continuous holiday afterwards. It is called 调休 in China. For instance, in 2019, the National Holiday is Oct 1-7, while Sept 29 (Sunday) and Oct 12 (Saturday) are working days. Missing this feature makes it difficult to manage working days for companies in China. As a workaround, they may need to manage two calendars to calculate the correct working days.

I'd like to borrow Back and Forward elements from the interet browsers to enable moving back and forth the browsing history, that's generated when moving from page to another. Please note: I've a process/object design/debugging in my mind. Currently, after drilling down from Main Page to a subpage, for example, coming back the same browsing path can be done by choosing subpage's Start stage and "Return to page reference" from the context menu. It's a bit clunky. What I've been thinking, a snappier way would be to click a "Back" button from the toolbar. Or alternatively by choosing Ctrl-Left or Ctrl-Right shortcuts from the keyboard, to move back and forth, accordingly. (Or by choosing a programmable key from the mouse, if you've one.)

Hi, It will be good to have a configuration setting to avoid runtime resources to look for a connection when they are offline. Currently in Control room these runtime resources shows as "Missing" status when the BOT machine is shutdown or offline for some reason. We are planning to implement a cloud based solution for Blue prism bots to start machine and stop machines automatically. When the machine stops, the relevant runtime resource shows as "Missing". It may help if we have a configuration setting to stop runtime resource to look for a connection in this scenario. Thanks, Manoj

During the design of any process, there are various instances when the blue prism reports lots of errors which are very small errors and can be auto-corrected by Blue Prism such as the stage is only partially within a block, stage to store in the result doesn't exist etc. The Blue Prism should throw a popup asking the user if he/she wants to auto-correct some of the errors errors by itself or not. This feature will help be very useful in resolving majority of the errors and saves the developer's time.

I would like to be able to see the number of successful cases worked and the number of exceptions raised against each session in the control room. This would make it easier to monitor from an Admin point of view - rather than having to check each queue for new additions, or have emails on completion telling me how many of each has been done, I can just look in the control room, see it's completed and the summary of cases worked.

If a process has a high-volume of items to work, allow multiple processes to run the same process simultaneously. This would drastically drive up the savings-per-process, and may give some more meaning to Work Queue prioritization.

Problem Statement:
In BluePrism version 6.4.1 to 6.7.1 we don't have option for searching an Object .In most of the cases we need to call the objects from processes using Action stage.
Manual searching and adding action in workflows is tedious and time consuming process.
Resolution:
To overcome this issue we need add search engine for BluePrism which will allow us to search and copy the actions into the workflow.
Implementation:
Created PowerShell script which act as a search engine for BluePrism objects. Search the object and copy the required action to clipboard.
Usage:
Right click and run the script using PowerShell
Below window will appear
Search for the required Object
Copy the Object
Paste it in BluePrism workflow

Hi BP, I believe from a maintenance perspective, the advanced Database Features such as Table Partitioning also called as Range Partitioning should be provided to the ROM architects to make things easier. Also Blue Prism SystemAdmins Should be provided with a capability to execute DDL and DML commands from the Blue PrismGUI. Also Blue prism should provide the capability to use other RDBMS like IBM DB2, Oracle which has more advanced features as compared to MS SQL.

Blue Prism has the option included for creating multiple references to a single process or object as part of its multi-team-environment feature. To create a new reference you hold down the Control key while dragging a process or object to a new group. This creates a reference to the same process, meaning changes made when accessing the process via one instance are effective on the other instance. This is confusing since Control + drag is a commonly used way of creating a separate copy of something (for example files or folders in WIndows). When you create a duplicate in Windows via Ctrl + drag, the new instance is separate from the original and any changes made to one instance are only made to that one. If you want to create a copy of a process in BP you have to open the process and then use 'Save As' which is not necessarily obvious or the simplest method. I would recommend that two new menu items be added to the right-click menu for processes and objects:
Create new reference; This would do what Ctrl + drag does now, creating a new reference to the same process. I would add some identifying feature to the process icon to be able to identify these multi-reference process from a standard, unique process.
Create copy; This would create a separate and distinct copy of the process without the need to open the process.
The function of Ctrl + drag could then be switched to be in line with the more common use of creating a copy although I appreciate that this change may cause confusion for those already familiar with the function.
