It would be very useful to classify or to filter Environment Variables for example by processes because to handle lot of process and lot of Environment Variables very difficult.

Provide an automatic refactoring update to any renamed data item. Although renaming should not be done willy-nilly, it is a common task during development. As your process grows it can become burdensome to manually have to find references and rename each occurrence of data item. If a rename could be detected, prompt offered to confirm with list of potential updates, that would be very helpful. potentially useful and core capability for other renaming/adjustment tasks such as renaming components, page references, etc.

As an automation tool, the tool itself should provide the possibility to easily automate itself. An exposed API would be nice to access Blue Prism internal data, information, configuration and automate certain tasks and generate own reports if desired. I want to avoid querying BP repository, which is very likely to change between versions and have to reverse engineer SQL. Having an API will provide a stable and efficient way to access all data. Additional functions on top of this data would allows various types of automation.

Required MS Edge Chromium browser support by Blue Prism. There is an organisational decision to change the default web browser as Edge Chromium and its already roll-out. We cannot relay on region mode automation for Edge chromium. Would like to know, when BP will support Edge chromium browser?

If we have a option to search for a process or object in Blueprism Studio. It will be very useful. Also if there is any option to find a environment variable in the list that will be really useful

After speaking with Blue Prism support I found out that they only have 32 bit installs of blue prism. This means that it can only use a max of 2/3GB of memory. This has been causing a problem with archiving larger data files from the Blue Prism logs. While building we have all logging active which means some of the sets of log data can be quite large. When trying to manually or automatically archive this data, the process fails due to not enough memory, even though more memory is available on the resource running the archiving. My suggestion is that in a later update of Blue Prism, a 64 bit process install should be available. This would allow more memory to be used, and stop our Robotics team having to rely on a Data Base Admin to archive our data for us. If anyone has any other suggestion on how we can get around this I am happy to discuss.

I would like to contribute an idea for improving the scheduler to check if the schedule is in an executable state before executing it, and if an execution error is detected, to automatically wait until the schedule is in an executable state and execute it. As a concept, I expect the functionality to be able to control the schedule execution by First-In First-Out as well as work queue. Currently, considering a solution for when a schedule execution error occurs for some cause, we have to manually maintain complex schedule operations such as periodic schedule settings in order to detect it, allow time for it to become executable, and then surely re-execute it. I am sure that this will not only reduce the workload of administrators, but also improve the utilization of digital workers by avoiding execution errors.

Hi, I think that's very important to exposure Process/Objects as API REST, because integrate the RPA solution with modern model microservices architectures. Use Cases/Scenarios: - External Web/App that invoke a process. via API Restful services. Regards, Arturo

Would be great if BP can upgrade the Code Stage action with IntelliSense/AutoComplete features which is available in Visual Studio/Excel. It'll be helpful to check on the related Functions, Classes, syntax and more. It will ease out the developers work to create their customized objects if required.

Even though we have scheduler it would be nice if we can start a process trought a trigger in queues. Basically when a queue as items we should be able to automaticaly start a process. The only way we can do this right now is if we have a robot checking new queue items , this makes the machine and resourse always unavaliable but there are no cases being worked.

The Chrome plugin has a known limitation in that it opens a TCP connection on port 31924 locally and doesn't dispose of the connection once the process finishes execution: http://portal.blueprism.com/customer-support/support-center#/path/1319712802 While I do appreciate the reasoning given in the Support Center article that this issue should only appear within the testing phase, it nevertheless has a big impact on project delivery, causing unnecessary slowdowns during the testing phase. [Additionally, it means terminal servers cannot be used at all, since one user/robot can block Chrome for everyone, even unintentionally] I would like for the TCP port to be closed once process execution is completed (within the Cleanup phase). Alternatively, being able to configure the port used could be an acceptable workaround.

Currently everything resets whenever your close a window or navigate around in Blue Prism. It would be great if windows remembered what I resized them to. It would be great if folders remembered which ones I had expanded and which ones I had collapsed. It would be great if the session log remembered which columns I had added and how much space I had given each one. You probably get the idea 🙂 It would be great if Blue Prism, on a per user basis, remembers our user interface settings, so we don't have to spend time constantly adjusting to our preferences.

It would be great if the Navigate and Write stages in the Object Studio could be updated to work with newer responsive webdesigns where various fields might depend on filling out data in other fields. For instance, when using a write stage to fill out a form, the "Send" button on the form will not be activated if it is listening for changes in the form itself, as the Write stage does not update the website, leaving the button inactive because the site thinks nothing has changed. This same behavior occurs when using the build-in "Click" functionality of the navigate stage, forcing developers to resort to using Global Mouse Clicks and Global Send Keys when automating modern browsers. This behavior further complicates issues when multiple systems, be they browsers or others (like SAP), are used and constantly forces us developers to keep the active system activated to ensure that Send Keys and Global Mouse Click can be used. One website that shows the issue is https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/tools/currencyconverter - if you use a write stage to write to the currency converter, the currency conversion does not work. The issue have been present in many of the previous versions in Blue Prism and I've tested it in 6.10 as well where it's still present. Furthermore, I've tested it in both Chrome (with the newest extention) as well as in Internet Explorer.

We should keep audit history for any changes done to Environment variable and Credential manager. This can help us to track down any changes made to variables and credentials.

Currently, when form submissions are raised by a Digital Worker to a human, there is no way to track their status(i.e. is it still in the user's inbox, or was it deleted?), as we don't know the submission ID that was assigned. An easy solution would be to add an output to the 'Raise Submission' API call and return the 'Submission ID' showing in Interact. This would enable the RPA developer to build logic to verify the integrity of the system and raise new submissions to users if they inadvertently delete them.

UIA mode performance needs to improve. As we highly dependent on UIA while doing Browser automation. Because in browser other than browser mode only UIA works. So it's performance needs to improve. We should able to highlight quickly using UIA mode.

In the latest version of Blue Prism, the standard VBO will no longer be included with the installer, but will be downloaded by each user from the DX. A search for "Blue Prism Enterprise - Core" now shows 26 VBOs. Downloading them one by one is complicated, and there is a high possibility of errors such as missing downloads. Please change the DX specifications so that downloading and bookmarking can be done for all Core VBOs at once.

An enterprise customer (Chorus/ Bridge/ Document Automation) uses the capture process to ingest images that originate in emails. Because the sources are sent as a packet that should be worked as a single work-item in Chorus, they would like to send them as one transaction to Document Automation. Our request is to facilitate transitioning this customer to be able to submit multiple sources into a single DA batch.

When spying web applications, it is quite useful to have access to the application navigator. Unfortunately, this feature is not available when spying on an application that runs on google chrome. I see now that several companies are moving away from explorer as their standard browser, which means that we have to re-spy a lot of existing objects. This would be much simpler if we had the application navigator available.
