While you may be able to simulate this via Custom Data options, it would be useful to have a simple, out-of-box option to send data such as work queue items processed, status, exception reason, etc. through Data Gateways for analytics.

Right now, only Session Logs/Published Dashboards/Custom Object Data can be sent to the output by Data Gateways. It would be great if Windows Event Logs of Runtime Resources could be sent to the output because we can obtain and analyze the event logs at nearly real time by, say, Splunk. When the Runtime Resources are Physical Desktops, it would be great helpful.

Hello! I would love for Blue Prism to be able to remember the current size of the windows I open/close within the application, like the Application Modeller window. Throughout the day I end up opening and closing this a few times and each time I do so I have to re-size it, to see all the information within the window that I need properly. See attached screenshots for a better understanding. Best Regards, Robin Jensen

When zooming in, it would be great if Blue Prism adapted the text size, not just the size of shapes and the grid.

When zooming in Process/Object Studio, the font always stays the same size. This decreases usability as many times users change the zoom level, it is because stage names cannot be read. Zooming doesn't help here as it only changes the size non-textual elements are rendered in but the font stays at the previous level.

If I create a schedule in Blue Prism, it shows as the name of the schedule with the scheduled processes underneath. When I click on a process, it allows me to set the next process that will run on that schedule after the currently selected process finishes. The trouble is that the processes can be arranged in any order under the name of the schedule, even if that order isn't representative of their running order. For instance, if I have a schedule called Count, and under that schedule are processes 1, 2, and 3 in numerical order. At first glance, you'd think that they'd run in that order. However, if you click on each individual process, 3 could run first, and then 1, then 2, all based on the contents of the On Complete combo box. I'd like to see the processes reorder themselves under the schedule name based on the On Complete contents. One step further would be to allow drag and drop functionality of the processes in a particular schedule to change their order, and have the On Complete contents automatically change based on that position. I think that if the drag and drop functionality were added, and that the order of the processes under the schedule name was the actual running order of the processes, the On Complete contents wouldn't even be needed, potentially freeing some real estate for something else. I would assume this would eliminate the need for the Initial Task combo box that is displayed on the screen that appears when you select the schedule's name. ------------------------------ Tracy Lovett RPA Developer I Synovus Columbus, Georgia, USA ------------------------------

The view functionality in the studio is too far limited. If I open a process or BO in view mode, my objective is to open it for READ ONLY purpose. I still want to be able to use all the other functionalities, like using the expression validation, advanced find, and so on. So the view functionality would be more useful as a read-only mode, instead of a no edit mode.

As a developer we need ease of creating web service connection and action based on endpoints available . we are looking for step by step wizard which can help to automatically load all the methods or endpoints in a given web service, be it REST or SOAP, as long as the provided link includes the services' definition - Swagger or WSDL. Once loaded select from which endpoints or methods to automatically create actions under Web service window instead of creating them one by one. Something similar already exists in UiPath and other platforms.

The application modeler should provide an API to interact with application elements in code stages so complex/missing functionality can be implemented. I would like to interact via C# with applications which are already connected to Blue Prism by using the functionality BP uses internally (e.g. directly accessing the .NET Process object in a code stage which holds the connection to the target application to send Win32 messages)

Blue Prism client/studio should be able to handle interrupted network connection. We are working in a mobile environment moving with our laptops from meeting to meeting and to the closest working area. It happens that your laptops are changing network, going into sleep/suspend mode when closed asf. When Blue Prism loses connection to application server, numerous .Net error messages are displayed (and lock each other so only killing the BP process helps). Furthermore the event log of the application server is spammed with error messages, which might cause wrong alarm in monitoring tools

Please add support for Public Holidays in Germany that can be used by the Blue Prism Calendar and Scheduler. There are moving public holidays in german calendar which have to be adjusted every year. This can lead to unwanted or unexpected results when the setting of the holidays went wrong or even was forgotten.

When a developer opens a locked process in the studio, they have the option of unlocking it or every locked process in the environment. It's common sense to not unlock all processes but it's an unnecessary risk to have this option uncontrolled. It would be ideal if there was notification sent to the developer who has the object locked so that they can accept or deny the unlock request. Similar to how remote desktop connections work when a user connects to a machine someone else is already connected to.

Add a change password option to the initial log-on screen, so it can be changed at any point, rather than just when it has expired.

We already have things like GetResourceName() but it would useful for a process/object to know other details such as: GetMyName() - eg what's this process called GetMyParentName() - eg which parent called this object GetMyPage() - eg what's the name of this page GetMyParentPage() - eg what's the name of the page from which this object was called Yes things can be hard coded but it's too hard to keep everything accurate.

Problem statement: if there is a change in the application layout as part of an upgrade the RPA process which was built on the previous version will fail. Now it takes a lot of effort to identify the changes happened to the elements that are identified previously.. idea: Application modeler should have a built in functionality to compare previously captured element and new element and highlight the differences option to Calibrate the previous version of elements with introduced changes.

Currently Blue Prism doesn't seem too sleek when it comes to navigating the application. It feels "stuttery", and I suspect that this is due to how the graphics of the application is handled behind the scenes. Whether it is being caused by having to talk to BP-server constantly, or running single-threaded I don't know. My suggestion is simple - Take a page out of the game developers book, and implement a separate GUI that runs on its own thread regardless of what is running in the core of Blue Prism, such that our GUI is responsive at all times. This is probably not a small task, as it would alter the way the application is built from the core and up. But it would help increase the quality of the product I think vs. your competitors.

There should be the possiblitity to order Blue Prism internal list views. For example the Manage Access Rights window in which User Roles are displayed randomly. Expected behavior would be, a click on column name alternates sort order between ascending and descending. Nice to have is also to possibility to search/filter in those windows

White building a test suite that will be used for validation and for regression testing , it will be useful after running this test suite to have a kind of code coverage (or Process stages coverage) informations. This code coverage can provide us with statistics like: · % of items in the process we didn’t path through. (it will be a good coverage indicator) · A list of these Items so we can enrich our test and enhance our test coverage. · Number of times we passed in the same path or sequence, so we can optimize our test suite by reducing test without compromising quality. · Object and objects ’actions called during these tests. · Credentials not used, Queues not used, … · …. This code coverage will also help identifying in production what objects are no more used and which paths in the processes we never go through in production.

Hi, It will be good to have MTE environment implemented for Process dependencies like, Work queues, Environment variables, credentials etc.., Currently it is applicable on Studio for groups and on Control room for differentiate runtime resources. Thanks, Manoj
