We want to secure access to our Blue Prism by requiring MFA for users. We have users in our system that have access to sensitive data. If hacker get access to our user and password, they can log in to Blue Prism and access these users and their password. We would like to prevent this by requiring MFA logon to Blue Prism.

Hi, we would like to have a search bar on the Control page similar to the one on the Studio page. This will make it easier and less frustrating to find a schedule. Is it possible for you to implement this change for us?

Add visual markers or color-coded highlights in the timeline to indicate where filter-triggering events occur, enabling users to quickly identify and navigate to these critical points without manual scanning. Without this feature: currently Users have to manually review each timeline to locate trigger events, leading to inefficiencies, missed insights, and reduced satisfaction with the tool. Goal: enable faster and more accurate identification of filtered events, improving user experience, boosting adoption, and accelerating decision-making.

Introduce functionality to filter timeline events based on designated points, allowing users to view only events that occur before or after a specified event (e.g., show the journey after a letter X is issued). Without this feature: users face difficulties isolating relevant parts of the timeline for analysis, leading to slower insights, increased manual effort, and a less efficient user experience.

The request would be to add screenshot (full-screen and within a specific pixel range) to one of the existing Core Functionality VBOs. It seems to me that it could fit in either the Utility - Environments (where you can obtain the screen resolution), or in the Utility - General. We, as I think it true of most customers, have a custom object that covers this, but it seems like a fairly basic action. I would love to be able to get rid of one more custom object. Thanks, Red

Currently, actions in Studio are auto-named in the format VBO::Action, such as "Utility - Date and Time Manipulation::Format Date". However, it is less readable, especially when multiple actions from the same VBO are used in the same process. All actions appear similar at first glance. By changing the auto-naming convention to Action::VBO, for e.g., "Format Date::Utility - Date and Time Manipulation", actions would become more distinguishable with minimal effort. This reversal ensures that the most relevant detail (the action name) is displayed first, reducing friction when scanning through multiple actions in Process Studio.

As BP 7.2 is moved to 64bit, could you please move Java version on Data Gateway(logstash) to 64bit Java. Currently there is no option to choose latest version on Data Gateways. So please make configuration more robust for updating the version on Java. This will allow to refer any latest version of Java(64 bit).

It would be a great addition if it where possible to see the changes between processes/objects that are part of a release in the Release Manager Windows. Currently, there is no way of seeing the contents/changes of a release while importing it into the Prod Environment. When importing a release you go through a number of windows, such the logging information and the overwrite questions. I would like to see an additional step here. Similar to comparing versions of a process/object in the studio. It would be helpful to have this option when importing a release. I understand that when importing, the actual process/object is not in the DB yet en and Compare function works by comparing to versions in the DB. However, I am sure it should be possible to works this out, for instance by importing it, then give the release manager the option to view the differences and then actually commit them. If they choose not to go trough with the release the imported version should be deleted.

Now a days data extraction from a web page or web table is very easy by all other RPA tools. It is available separately in all the tools. I have raised it earlier as well to add similar kind of feature in BP. Now the way BP is extracting data from web page or web table, it's very very difficult. As I see there are lot of feature being added in recent version, please consider this one. Data scrapping is a missing feature in Blue Prism. Blue Prism Enterprise v7

It would be beneficial if we had the ability of exporting credentials from one version of BP such that they can be imported into a newer version of BP. Issues were experienced during our migration from V6.8 to V7.1 such that it was strongly advised for us to do a migration of automations over a few weeks, instead of over a weekend. Our migration required about 190 bots to be migrated. Future migrations could be double or more. Having to extract the password from BP by running get credentials once per user and then manually keying those across to 7.1.2 was very time consuming and annoying.

Hello, after spying an element and adjusting the paramaters one wants to use the highlight option to verify the element. I suggest adding a posibillity of delayed hightlight which would mean the App modeler starts looking for the element after i.e. 10 seconds. Why we need this: For some elements like item at dropdown list it is extremely difficult to use normal highlight. I get "no element found" because you need to perform a click or two to make the element present and the app modeler gives up sooner than that. Just to be clear I'm not suggesting to replace the standard highlight, just to add this as an extra option.

Although the setting 'start a personal runtime resource on this machine when users sign in to Blue Prism' affects the whole environment and I assume it is rarely used (why would someone start BP to make it act as a runtime resource that then takes over the workplace?! why not start the process directly in Studio or send it to a dedicated runtime resource?!). By default (at least in 6.9 not sure about 7.3.x yet) each user will register his workplace as possible runtime resource, mixing it with dedicated runtime resources and needs to be removed manually. Having a private runtime resource start when starting BP UI may also cause issues with network ports and other system resources. Currently the only option to deactivate the 'start a personal runtime resource' is to login into BP and change it manually, on each workplace/resource, which can only be done with BP admin rights, so users are not even able to change settings for their own workplace. Some ideas on how to improve the situation: make the 'personal runtime resource' disabled by default make it a system wide setting allow users to change this setting for their own workplace have this setting easily changeable in an automated way. eg via CLI, config file (that can be amended during install process) make it a centrally managed feature of a runtime resource/workplace similar to eg logging levels that can be changed in System\Resources\Management any other possible idea that might help but is not listed here

I would like to suggest the implementation of a built-in code scanning tool within Blue Prism. Currently, we face challenges in identifying bugs or vulnerabilities in our Blue Prism projects, as there is no dedicated code scanning tool available. While we attempted to integrate with SonarQube, it did not yield satisfactory results.
The primary issue we encountered with SonarQube is its treatment of the .bprelease files as XML, which leads to inaccurate analysis results. The tool primarily focuses on detecting code smells, which are not applicable or relevant to our specific requirements.
Therefore, I kindly request the development team to consider incorporating a native code scanning tool into Blue Prism which can scan code stages like C#, Visual Basic, JavaScript . This tool would be tailored to analyze Blue Prism's unique code structure and provide comprehensive feedback on potential bugs, vulnerabilities, and any other code-related issues specific to Blue Prism processes.
By having a dedicated code scanning tool within Blue Prism, we can streamline our code review process, enhance the overall quality of our projects, and ensure compliance with security standards. This tool would greatly contribute to maintaining the integrity and reliability of Blue Prism solutions.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to the possibility of a built-in code scanning tool being introduced in Blue Prism.

I believe it is advantageous to include the list of default objects within the learning edition of Blue Prism (which was the case prior to 7.3). I can't speak on behalf of everyone but we currently don't have a training environment within our Enterprise install of Blue Prism and utilise the learning edition to run training of the Blue Prism product.
Not having these included with the learning edition requires us to provide a release file to each trainee, or have them download what they need from DX directly.
Also, I note that the documentation is not correct for verifying an installation as it still points to the VBO folder, which is now empty as of 7.3.

Currently, the Exception Types are created by users manually typing into the combo box within the Exception Stage's properties.
This often leads to multiplication of the same exception type due to typos, misunderstandings, etc.
Example below:
This in turn becomes a nightmare when it comes to reporting, as often a hard set rule cannot be followed for extrapolating these from the overall pot.
I suggest removing the ability to add new exception types by typing into the combo box, and instead make it a privileged action within the System settings.
For example within the already existing Exception Type screen:
This could be done by implementing an "Add new exception type" action on the side panel, below the already existing "Scan processes"

Hi BP Team, The ability to select and mark multiple queue items as exception. Not having this option was a bit of a surprise. What happens if you need to mark a huge volume of items? I had to already and it took long. The data provided to the queue was bad so I could not retry and didn't have much of an option. There should be an option to make changes to multiple items on a page regardless of the status. Having to do one at a time when you have a large volume items isn't practical. The items also can't remain in a pending state because then the DW will pick them up. Along with that, an option to empty a work queue would also be nice. Having to then select all delete multiple pages of data, if ever needed, can also be unnecessarily tedious. Thank you,

Problem Statement: Currently we have a number of use cases which require Python scripts to complete specific NLE activity or to support with the management of files such as: encrypting/ decrypting with specific PGP keys converting protected PDF documents to unprotected, editable and readable documents for OCR extraction managing multiple PDF documents such as deleting pages, merging documents These scripts are currently utilised as standalone py files which are triggered via Blue Prism; but not within Blue Prism. Proposed Solution: Include Python as a supported language within Blue Prism code stages Provide Python as an installable supporting application alongside core Blue Prism product installer Provide the ability to run 'pip install' to obtain dependencies for scripts all within Blue Prism.
