One of our clients would like to move the comments from presentation flow's automation service from User comments to System comment. This change is necessary because the automation service system comments are crucial for our users to understand the status of the work. Moving these comments to system comments makes more sense because they are triggered by the system rather than an operator.

When a change or update in user profile is made in Chorus (Work Place>User - workgroup) by a designated administrator, the update is not displayed/reflected in My Team in Analytics automatically/simultaneously. The update will only be displayed once the user logs into Chorus. It was confirmed with SS&C that it is working as designed. This design needs to be improved to keep track of the changes with user profiles real time. In the case where a user update has been made and the user is out for two weeks, the My Team will only get updated once this user logs into Chorus. Suggestion: Any changes to user profile in Chorus (i.e. work group) should be reflected/displayed in My Team in Analytics automatically and doesn't need/require for the user to log into Chorus. As Analytics is a tool for data/info about Chorus activities, we expect it to provide accurate information (real time).

Currently if you send a Composition by email and the address is incorrect, the email will move to Error Status. The client would like the ability to "Cancel" the email (would prefer to change email address and resend, different request) and move it to the Cancel Status so that it is apparent the item was reviewed and error caught.

We are thrilled we can now deprecate Chorus Design Studio Presentation Flows, Automation Services, and Sampling Services. Can the Deprecate option be added for Processes that aren't currently deployed?

Currently, if you want to know the location of the source file for data you get back from decipher, the only way to do it is to push single document batches and add the filename and location in the batch metadata. I'd like to add metadata at the document level (or at the least track the source file location through decipher so it comes back out the other end into Blue Prism.
This is useful for anyone who needs to manipulate the source file based on the result of the classification or data extraction.

Client has several automated service models that have been deployed that are tied to Communications letters. They cannot delete the letters in Communications because it is tied to an automated service model. The automated service model is no longer being used but they cannot “undeploy” it or delete the automated service model which would allow them to delete the Communication letters.
Clients need the ability to “undeploy” or delete an automated service model.
Similar to a process model clients need the ability to ‘undeploy’ or delete and Automated Service Model. The obsolete service model prevents the client from deleting letters that are no longer needed in the Communications tool.
The client no longer needs the letters and are not able to clean them up. If the service model is not being used, we do not need to keep it on the system. An end user could select the letter even though they are no longer valid and send an incorrect letter. It also slows down productivity by having to look through letters that are no longer needed.

We would like to see regular expressions matching and replacing using the Expressions editor in Blue Prism, so we can use it in e.g. calculation and decision stages. Currently, our work around is a separate BP Object, and we would like it integrated directly in the BP engine.

There are a lot of companies relying on the digital worker to get data from invoices, other PDF documents and there are no in built actions available for pdf automation, which are present in other RPA softwares which they are taking advantage, i would be really helpful if a set of actions are added to Blue prism which deals with the PDF automation.

The ability to add fields and make them mandatory to the save screen when saving a Process or an Object.
We are using Devops to build Stories, record bugs and add new development tasks. Would really like every change in a process or object to be tied back to Devops,
Currently we are writing the bug number in the comment but would it be possible in the future to be able to customise the save screen so that we can force developers to record certain information

Please add subscription for support articles with email notification on changes to be able to follow/watch. The world is changing fast. Support articles need to be created early and modified often. Currently there seems to be no chance to get notified automatically on changes in support articles like "IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION - Security Vulnerabilities - SS&C Blue Prism Enterprise" at Support Center | Blue Prism Portal and "What are the known issues in Blue Prism Version 6.10 releases?" at Support Center | Blue Prism Portal.

When a process is running in Control Room, you can have a look at the log to see if it's doing all the right things. Unfortunately, this log is currently only a snapshot at the time you open it. If you want to see the current state again, you have to open a new log, which again is only a snapshot.
While I do appreciate you cannot have live updating logs all the time, this option would certainly be very nice to have for those problems that require to keep track of what the process is doing as it runs along. For that reason it would be very nice indeed to have access to an new log option that allows for live logging.
Happy coding! --------------- Paul Sweden

Clients need the ability to allow variables in the email subject line. Currently the subject has to be selected from a drop down menu from a predefined set of subjects that the content admin defined. Clients need to be able to pull in variables to the email subject. Lincoln has a large initiate to implement Communications. This project requires flexibility in the email subject line when the claims specialist are responding back to emails.

We have a lot of requests in Interact and our back office aren't working fast enough. And now they are always picking the newest Interact Inbox. We have tried to make them click on ID to take the oldest first. But they forget after some weeks. And now we have requests that never go through.
An Inbox that remembers what the last user did will really help our customers to receive faster human-in-the-loop answers.

Currently when a user locks themselves out of Chorus they are presented with a canned message that states "Your user id has been locked due to multiple sign-on failures. Please contact your supervisor to reactivate it." Depending on how security is handled for a given client it is quite possible that "your supervisor" is not the correct person to contact to activate your id. For example for us you would need to contact the help desk. Making this message configurable would be clearer for end users and save time and frustration.

The Chrome plugin has a known limitation in that it opens a TCP connection on port 31924 locally and doesn't dispose of the connection once the process finishes execution: http://portal.blueprism.com/customer-support/support-center#/path/1319712802 While I do appreciate the reasoning given in the Support Center article that this issue should only appear within the testing phase, it nevertheless has a big impact on project delivery, causing unnecessary slowdowns during the testing phase. [Additionally, it means terminal servers cannot be used at all, since one user/robot can block Chrome for everyone, even unintentionally] I would like for the TCP port to be closed once process execution is completed (within the Cleanup phase). Alternatively, being able to configure the port used could be an acceptable workaround.

Hi, just seen on BPW21 a demo from ABBYY where Timeline PI can integrate with Capture to populate the process flow from Timeline on to Capture. I understand this is limited to ABBYY and no plans to add other process mining platforms, but this looked really great and Blue Prism will be missing a trick to limit this to only customers with Timeline. Can you consider adding other process mining tools, like Celonis which my company use.

Often when I troubleshoot presentation flows and automation services the I built in Chorus Design Workspace, I find the lack of a testing environment is a challenge. I do not have the option to trace variable values, and place breakpoints in the code. The best thing I can do at this point is print out variable values to the history Comments, but this is a challenge with complex data structures like tables and arrays. It would be great to be able to simply place a breakpoint on a specific step in a presentation flow and flag which variables or other session state data that I would like to trace. When the presentation flow hits that breakpoint, the user is presented with a special breakpoint screen with all the session state data that is being traced. Perhaps there is a specific flag the user sets when they deploy the process to indicate whether or not to ignore the breakpoints. Automation services being run outside of a presentation flow wouldn't be able to present a screen, but they could print out session state data to comments using the same configuration. I'd be happy to work on some mockups to elaborate on this idea if it is something we want to pursue.

The ability for Chorus Admin users to easily unlock specific objects that are locked to "System" would eliminate the need for self-hosted Clients to engage IT to release objects. Hosted Clients could save time/effort since they would not be required to open a ticket for SS&C Hosting to complete the unlock.
