Unlike some other vendors, BluePrism currently lacks the capability to 'record' interactions/flows, which could greatly increase the initial development time. While I understand it is far from trivial, I propose the following user story; process flows can be recorded on the level of VBO actions when I start a new recording within a VBO, I can give it a certain name, this will be the name of the new action during the interactions, I can toggle between the spy modes, in order to have better control on the application model. The recorded measures what actions are taken (click, keystrokes, scrolling) input parameters can be specified before starting the recording, available for later reference during the recording generic (but meaningful) names are automatically generated for data items and application model elements (e.g. button.Confirm, input.FirstName for elements)  OR during the recording, I have the ability to name spied elements and create data items in some way. on finalizing the recording, a blueprint of the process is generated in a simple, naïve way. Adding branching logic, collections, etc... is something that can be done manually during development. Currently, when setting an LOB value in a process design create web service, a configuration is required to set the value to the max character length of the LOB field. If this is not done, and the value is longer than the max length defined for that LOB field, the service will fail. Hello, In the context of robotization of a Java application of our customer who has migrated to OpenJDK , we have found that it is impossible to retrieve information from the tables of the application. Blue Prism returns us a message indicating that an overflow has occurred when trying to retrieve data to a collection. In addition to some errors of confusing origin when interacting with the application. When contacting support we have been told that Blue Prism currently does not support the use of OpenJDK. Currently when a process is missed to trigger in the control room which was scheduled, it is not possible to trigger a notification due to existing running schedule or unavailability of resource. Can we create a feature where if our pending queue item is there in the queue more than the SLA time it sends a alert or mail.  I do understand that its possible thorugh indirect ways , bit can we build a inbuilt feature or VBO where we need to give queue SLA (like we have priority or tags) and if that item is pending more then the time of SLA or its about to reach it , it throws a alert to prod team . I made a post about this in the product forum, but was lead here. To simplify, I'll paste the text below: I've used Blue Prism for nearly two years, and there are some features of the product that acts as a daily annoyance. Here's a list: - Moving several objects at the same time:  When selecting and dragging several object on a page, you'll have to be extremely careful not to end up dragging everything far out to the edges of the page. This makes it really difficult to design the entire page at once, and really should be fixed. I don't think there's ever a time you'll need to move everything at such a speed which it makes us do right now. - Editing Choice-stages: When editing choice stages, even if only opening the editor and pressing OK, it will allways mess up the gaps between the choices. Again, not a function I've ever found useful, so I don't think this is made purposely. Also, the choices are placed at random places which can't be accessed if we're moving the choices manually, so again, it's not useful.  - Sizing and resizing the different windows: If I open any window, like the "View Log", Application Modeller, Calculation editor, or similar, I never get all the details visible, and therefore have to resize it every time. This could be all the columns in the Logs window, or enough details in the calculation stage editor. Also, if the program would have some form of logical resizing of e.g. Columns, so that when you increase the width of e.g. Application Modeller window, you don't just increase the width of the Values column under Attributes (which is already more than wide enough), but you get a wider colum for the Applications tree on the left side.  The attributes described over are of course nitpicky, but the sum of such illogical and un-userfriendly funcitons really add up to a less enjoyable experience for us developers that use Blue Prism every day. For all I know there are fixes for these, so any tips would be greatly appreciated, but if my assuption is correct. these are just the small things that no one talks about and gets used to. The Note action is very useful to explain in the process what is going on. By default, any text entered there is centered both vertically and horizontally. Other text options are Bold, Italics, Underline and choice of font. Often, the fixed default centering does not make reading the Note action text easier. If you put a numbered list in a Note action, the results are not very readable as the list is centered. For this reason it would be nice if BP would allow us to chose what centering should be used; left, right, center, both vertically and horizontally. Currently, we can only use the action "Raise Submission" to create a unique form for an individual in Interact. We would like to have the capability to raise a submission for a unique form that can be filled out by multiple users. Our concern is for situations where we need to meet a specific SLA and the individual who the form is assigned to is on PTO and will not be able to fill out the form on time. Hello Team, I've feedback for BPU and PDF guides. There are many courses on BPU that just shows slides of the PDF guide (e.g. BPC courses) A course should be video material with dynamic components, voice-overs, graphics, and charts to explain the tool and concept easily. Just having PDF guides broken into chapters and having it as a course does not sound to me like a good idea.  If it is just a PDF/Slideshow for a user to read then he/she can simply read the PDF guide outside of BPU. We have many interactive video courses as well e.g Decipher Training, Blue Prism Foundation Training, etc. on BPU which are great. My point here is we should have a clear delineation between video courses and PDF guides and it should not be mixed up on BPU. All SCORM video courses should be on BPU.
